So I was wondering a couple of things from this community. First off, has anyone done this yet? And if so, how much real money did you spend? I'm trying to see how much real money I can expect to spend complete all/the important ones. I know I can check daddyleagues for this info, but I want to know real life experiences with this. Thanks guys.

I got lucky and pulled a chris sale last night, purchased 5 bases loaded packs. Got Chris Sale, McCutchen and the Diamond Griffey Cleats. I sold McCutchen since i already had one. Now im debating whether to take the Sale and Griffey Cleats and use that in the market, it would give me about 100k which i could the start flipping diamonds

If you didn't already know, the Griffey Cleats are the 95% reward in the Diamond Program. So that's an easy sell.

But why would you hold onto them if they give you them, those cleats are only gonna drop in price once more people realize that everyone will be given them.

True, I havent really looked into the Griffey missions. Are the cleats not required to have in order to advance? or are they not required until after they give them to you?

Yea, so how it works out is they are the reward once you reach 95% completion of the program. There is mission that requires you to collect the cleats, and it is worth 5% towards completing the program. So essentially if you complete every other mission you will complete the program because the reward completes the final mission.

Ok cool, thanks for the info. All i needed to know. I have posted them for sale, the price on them has dropped like crazy over the last few days so thanks for the heads up

Played against someone in Ranked Seasons. I'll tell you his lineup..

97 Posey
99 Miguel (triple crown card)
97 altuve
99 George Brett
99 Ripken
99 Ted Williams
99 Trout
99 Dynasty player with, you guessed up all 99 (both pitching and hitting) attributes

Facing Clayton Kershaw

But as we all know, people who have these stacked teams usually aren't the most skilled players and I was able to beat him 9-3.

After the game I asked how he got this lineup, e said he paid $500 and bought the Battle Royale cards on the market and flipped them.

Due to his 500 Team rating but 300+ rating mod, I only went up 8 points in the standings.... went from 815 to 823... I hate that. A lineup like that and I only go up 8 points because of his actually ranking+ratings mod

Yup, pretty much every other team I come up against is full of diamonds, usually expensive ones at that. A lot of them don't seem to be able to play the game though and will swing at anything, but if you make the slightest mistake their guys are so powerful it's a homer pretty much every time. But they are obviously no match for Rake Lamb and Asdrubel Cabrera

That flipping method probably isn't a bad plan. If you get into the upper upper echelon markets, I suppose the gap can be so wide between Buy Now and Sell Now you can make bank if you're patient.

Yeah based on that team it seems like they did quite well
