    My first bug

I have not experienced any bugs, at least that I've noticed, in this game...until now.

I bought KG, Jr Rookie card from the Ticket Counter and was working on the Diamond Program missions, in particular the 11 hits in 11 games. I just exceeded the number by getting 12 hits in 8 games. But when I went back to the mission screen, it showed him with only 2/11! I checked the game history and all the hits show up there.

I guess I'll just keep grinding with him, unless anyone knows how to get the hits back. Hope it doesn't keep happening.

    Re: My first bug

Your issue could be due to the way they count games. I know in the past, EVERY game counts. This means that even games without Griffey in the lineup are counting towards the 11. So basically the tracker resets every 11 games regardless of who is in the lineup. This can be exceptionally frustrating because there's no way to tell what game the tracker is on. It's possible that your first game with Griffey, the tracker was on like 6 games so it reset after the 5th game you played or something.

It's possible they have fixed this design flaw and you are experiencing a bug, but I had the same exact issue 2 months ago and it was because of what I described above.

Thanks for the response, but I don't think it's the problem you describe. All the games with KG in the lineup were consecutive games. All were vs CPU games except for one Conquest game in the middle. I checked his status before the last game and he was at 9/11, so they were counting up to the game in which he exceeded the number.

I think the problem is that it didn't start when you started using him. It doesn't care about consecutive on a rolling basis, it just decides you have started then counts to 11 games, then resets, then counts to 11 again, and so on. So when you started using him probably wasn't when the 11 game counter started.

It's utterly ridiculous and even more ridiculous that it doesn't tell you how many games you've played, but that's SDS for you. I've been screwed over repeatedly on the 8 homers in 8 BR games due to this.

I feel like what I was describing is still possible so I'll try to explain it a little bit better.

The problem with the mission is that it doesn't matter if you played all games consecutively wth Griffey in the lineup. The game is including games vs. CPU before you even acquired Griffey in the mission count. If you played only 5 games in your entire career against the CPU, that means upon acquiring Griffey your game counter is at 5/11.

Any sane person would assume "Now that I have Griffey, I have 11 games to get 11 hits." For whatever reason, this is not the case. For the first batch of games with Griffey, you may only get 4 games 5 games, 8 games, etc depending on where the counter was upon acquiring the card. There's no way of knowing.

The counter is not dependent on Griffey being in the lineup. So when you checked before the 8th game you played and you had 9/11 hits it's very possible that the game counter had just run out and you just didn't know it. Then once you started your next game, it went back to 0. You got 2 hits in your next game and the counter read 2/11.

OK, I see what you're saying. Wow, that would be strange! I've played a lot of vs CPU games prior to acquiring KG.
