post game reward came down to LS Doug Fister and Shea Stadium. It's just a diamond stadium but still a few thousand stubs

Logged into the game last night. A Stanton popped up. Awesome!!!

Sold Stanton to buy a 50 pack/Trout Fishing. In the 37th pack I got another Stanton.

Sold that Stanton to buy another 50 pack. Went fishing for some trout again. Came up empty

So just to be clear, you were gifted a 55K Diamond, spent that immediately on packs, which yielded you ANOTHER 55K Diamond as if to tell you to take your W and walk, and then you turned that to dust? I know it's just a game, but as someone who plays a ton and whose best pull/reward remains Gold Gary Sanchez, this is insane to me.

I've had crazy, crazy luck this year. In my first pack-a-thon I pulled a Bryant and Rizzo back to back. Also have gotten a Freeman and a Jose Ramirez from my daily login bonus pack.

But yeah, I'm at the point where I've done so much grinding, pretty happy with my team, and I just want to pull a Trout. I don't care about anything else I do this year. I just want that magical feeling of pulling a Trout out of a pack. For the most part, I've done a lot of the exchanging that I need to do and when it comes time to finish immortals, I have some assets to sell if I gotta get stubs to get a ton of souvenir jerseys and whatever.

Wow I just started this mode just picked up game last week. Got Sale from an after the game lottery thing after like my third game of conquest.

Not sure if i should keep or still, after going through this thread I see I got incredibly lucky.

It depends on what you want to do. If you are going to grind out missions and get players I'd sell him to have a solid base of stubs to purchase items for all those sets/missions. You'll get a good amount of solid pitching by just knocking out missions.

Much appreciated, new to the mode and had no idea what you were talking about and was able to put the stubs to work and have almost full gold/diamond team and haven't really even lost many stubs in the process. This mode has so much more than MUT which is only other Card collecting game I've played.

This mode has so much more than MUT which is only other Card collecting game I've played.

Another big change you'll notice from MUT to DD is that DD isn't nearly as "pay to win" as MUT. There is a much bigger skill gap in DD, IMO. You could take a team of golds and beat a guy with all the best players. In MUT that rarely ever happens because the game is so animation heavy.

Was bored so decided to waste my stubs buying a 50 pack. Little did I know it would have my first diamond of the year in it, Chris Sale! Probably will get almost all 50k back just on him, so the extra couple of golds and a bunch of silvers and the like are free this time (unlike on the previous 150 packs I've probably bought!)
