Been saving up for another 20 pack and I've finally gotten to it. I feel like tonight's the night I pull a diamond. It's been a while. 8:35 here right now.

The best cards I pulled was LS Trevor Bauer and Wilson Ramos

I figured I'd blow some stubs on a 10 pack this morning. Outside of pulling Kimbrel awhile back, my pack luck hasn't been very good. Couple of gold players and some diamond bobbleheads and autographs in about 300 packs opened. So imagine my surprise when I saw a diamond peeking out of the 3rd pack in the bundle.

The partially visible number was clearly a 7, so I hopped on shownation.com and checked the possibilities. 87 is a volatile number because you could end up with Freeman on the high end (80K) or Verlander on the low end (less than 20K). I took a deep breath and hit X for the reveal...FREEMAN. He sold immediately and now I've got over 100K stubs in the bank just days after blowing all my stubs on Trout. It's a glorious day!

Ive pulled two diamonds since the release of last years game. Reds Cueto and Corey Kluber. Ive opened an absolute **** ton of packs(especially at the end of last year when I was just ripping through half price 50 bundles). I always say I wanna keep track but I never do. I ripped two twenties last night. Made my money back on first thanks to the ridiculous price of some silvers like Elvis Andrus(3500?) so bought another and got ****.

Packs suck.

Lies. Im on my 3rd 20 pack of the day because I keep getting my money back thanks to the ridiculous prices of garbage cards. Some ******* bought Drew Butera for 2500 from me. They keep getting worse though, gonna be tough getting my 20k back from this one.

This is another reason the stub sale is great even for players who don't spend money on stubs. The inflated prices of low-level cards means that even if you don't pull a Diamond from a bundle, you're likely to make back most of your stubs anyways if you sell everything. I'm going to keep trying my luck with a 10 or 20 pack each day until the stub sale ends. The risk is very low, and the potential reward very high.

It very well might be. The only reason I don't is because it takes so long to sell everything back. I'm sticking to 10-packs so I can recoup my stubs quicker.

Yup,this was a bad idea on a friday night, the idiots that undercut the price by like 60 percent for no reason are out in full force .

I'm just gonna pull a 20 every day for the rest of the sale and then a 10 every day until prices come back down. The prices on the lowest cards are ridiculous, so if you sell everything you'll make all your stubs back even if your packs are bad. Right now we're basically able to take a shot at the diamond lottery for free. The risk is 0
