This Finest Program is really...not good.

The cards in it are great, but the execution is just baffling. 30K for a pack that provides 4 cards, but only guarantees 1 gold player?

Oh well, at least they gave us a free pack today...mine included a common player, a bronze player, a silver player, and gold live series Salvador Perez. Woof. If I were to have paid 30K for that pack, i would have lost around 28,000 stubs on the purchase.

The only ways to play the game and earn guaranteed Finest cards are to win (not just play, win) 50 Battle Royale games, or beat every MLB team via vs. CPU missions. Great, can't wait to fight to earn these guaranteed Finest cards, and then maybe sell them to help get more stubs, right?

WRONG...you cannot sell those rewards.

Oh, and you need 3 Finest players to just get to 25% mission completion. So you have to buy at least one pack, if you didn't get a Finest player in your freebie, to get a quarter of the program done. And you need TWELVE Finest cards to complete the whole mission. There's no stats tied to these...it's all about collecting them via packs or buying in the market. Basically, it's a cash grab - go out and buy more stubs, people!

I do understand that these cards are valuable in game and should carry a hefty price tag, but when a Finest card was GUARANTEED in the Finest packs last year, this doesn't look great.

The best thing about this was that it crashed the market on live series players, and helped me complete a bit more of my collection.

Sorry for the rant, but this was an unexpected heel turn by SDS in my opinion. They made some "interesting" decisions when it came to content releases earlier this year, but to make this kind of release, at this point in the game's life cycle, it just stinks.

Only thing I dont agree with is it being unexpected. Its been slowly trending that way for a couple years but the introduction of souvenirs and trying to market them as a way for us to get an easy 5%, you knew they turned heel. All the way up until now with them adding events every week with guess pitch or quick counts and this atrocious program.

I was kinda looking forward to this program getting me back into the game a bit, but nope, got a big middle finger instead.

Fun new fact about the Finest program, apparently all those sony partners/youtubers get 3 guaranteed Finest players.

Thats everything I needed to know about the direction of this game. I will not give them another penny for the foreseeable future. Maybe ill find a used copy of one of the older shows(you know, the ones that didnt play like a steaming pile of ****) and just play that next year with my own rosters.

not played the game for a long while now but was always hoping some new content would arrive and entice me back for another go. But wow.

Just seen the finest "program" (how you can really call "buy 12 players" a program is beyond me) and jesus wept, it's embarrassing. They've given up all pretence and have just admitted this is a straight up cash grab.

It's essentially a program that's description might as well be "spend 1m stubs", as that's all it is. I always thought the equipment and Potm programs were a complete con, but this is so much worse.

There is literally nothing to do, no missions with the players, no objectives, no incentive to play the game (beyond the incredibly lazy "pay thousands of stubs to try and win 50 BR games"). This can't have taken more than 10 minutes to throw together, it's pathetic. There aren't even any rewards, beyond 10,000 stubs for completing it (pay 1m get 10k back, hurrah!)

This whole year has been an absolute disaster for DD. They have mishandled just about everything and the levels of greed has been shocking.

Got to check it out myself yesterday. It's even worse than I thought. What the **** kind of program is "spend literally way more than a million stubs to complete"

Last year I didn't get at launch but picked up a month later because my ******* friends coerced me into it even though I could tell all the souvenir stuff was crap. And they quit playing right after I started too. Never again.

The things I'll definitely remember is not to listen to anything they say in the prelaunch streams, as it all turned out to be complete lies. I don't trust SDS in any way at all anymore, which is gutting as I love baseball and this has the makings of a good game, but the people who make decisions are just terrible

I decided to do the same, considering I'm not planning on playing this game again (at least not DD). I had 120k left apparently, bought 4 packs to go with the free one, got what I expected. Absolutely nothing

As ph alluded to earlier, I really hope people remember how unhappy they are come next March. We need to make them feel this by not buying the game, its the only way they are going to change. Even if they promise a ton of changes to DD, people need to remember they lied about nearly everything in their pre launch live streams.

They are snake oil salesmen at this point.

Incredible, and this year they dont even let you use your tickets on a cheap diamond to turn them into stubs, which is the only way I got use out of my tickets last year too. So now this year they are just entirely worthless.
