So far I would say, Nolan>Gibson>Seaver but I don't have much sample size.

Nolan just has incredibly nasty stuff. As you can see in the stats, his control is to be desired, but that ain't a problem when his pitch count can go higher than anyone else. His stuff seems to be the most popping and his breaking balls are a huge difference.

Also, avoid throwing low in the strike zone sinkers by any of these three. They gotta be out the zone or closer to the middle. The ones low in the zone ALWAYS get smoked out.

I agree with that order, although I haven't used Seaver a lot yet. Nolan just dominates for me, I think the only time I lost online with him pitching is when the other team had him as well and I couldn't get many hits.

Finally got a squad I'm proud to share. Only my second year with the game and first year playing online. I admit to playing all the way through Conquest and grinding a bunch of Rookie games to build some of this, I also grabbed Stubs from playing through a season of a Dodgers franchise, but no money spent and I'm rolling with:

Gold FS Kingery (at SS)
Gold IV Utley (2B)
Gold LS Springer (CF)
Gold LS M. Cabrera (at 3B, he doesn't burn me defensively there surprisingly)
Diamond Karros (1B)
Gold LS Cespedes (RF)
Diamond FS Mejia (C)
Gold Gary Carter (LF)

I'm planning to upgrade an OF spot and move Carter behind the dish, but at the same time I love that Mejia card, will definitely keep him on my bench

Gold LS Gregorius (IF / Lefty Bat with some pop)

Usually carry one more lefty bat like Diamond L. Gonzalez or Gold Edmonds but honestly I'm terrible with both of them. Edmonds is great defensively though. I also flirt with the Diamond Edgar Martinez because I really liked him growing up but I struggle with him in this game.

So, if you made it this far, thanks for looking over my lineup and now tell me, should I cash in the Diamond Miller and for what? The only thing I would really want is probably a Diamond SP, another big bat at 3B or a five-tool guy in the OF. I've got ~45K stubs and will spend some of that chasing Gary Carter and Chase Utley. Only immortal I'm really interested in as of right now is Nolan Ryan and I don't know that I have the stomach for another grind LOL. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I need some advice, boys. I want that Tiant card in my life, but it will cost me Trout to get him. If you were me with the team above, would you sell Trout (moving Ruth to RF and Encarnacion to 1B) to get Tiant? Or would you hold onto the Fishman and roll with the starting lineup I currently have?

Pros
-Add the best pitcher on the market, who happens to be an Indians player, matching the theme of my team
-Drawing Tiant in RS will be close to an automatic win with that pitch mix, velocity, and per 9s
-Encarnacion moves back into the lineup, and he's mashed for me since day 1

Cons
-Trout is essentially an Immortal, and losing him hurts my speed, defense, and hitting
-Tiant's price is going to be outrageous, so making future improvements may prove difficult
-Trout plays every game, and Tiant would only play approximately 1 in 5

I feel like this game might be more fun if this group of guys play each other more next year. Maybe that'll make us hate each other lol, but my experience was a lot more enjoyable when I spent it playing against friends instead of grinding vs the CPU nonstop.

Back again because kind of a lot has changed. I was out of the country for two weeks and when I got back, I decided to sell Tiant and Ohtani. Good thing I did, because they're worth about half of what I sold them for. I was sitting on a million stubs hoping for some awesome Indians Finest cards, and SDS delivered. Lindor, Ramirez AND Bauer?! Then I realized that if I got lucky with my Finest packs from the program, I might be able to get the almighty Immortal Fishman. Fate was on my side...I pulled Edwin Diaz which put me over the hump.

My all-time Indians/Immortals team is now officially insane. Far better than I ever could have imagined it would be with no money spent. I'll be adding Immortal Musial at the end of the month. Here's how the final god squad looks. This will definitely keep me playing for a few more weeks at least, even with Red Dead Redemption 2 dropping Friday. I can't wait to use all these new cards!
