Just played a ranked season game that goes 18 innings because nobody can hit anymore with the floating PCI that will almost always be where you didn’t aim it. When we did square up balls with good timing we hit weak garbage. Bottom of the 18th with 2 outs my opponent has a runner with 43 speed on 3rd....see where this is going? He hits a weak pop up just behind the dirt of the second base side that my second baseman catches and incredibly my opponent tries to tag up and score.....good move on his part because the game is totally broken in so many areas and my second baseman just starts walking and finally throws a soft lob toss home but his 43 speed guy was already celebrating the winning run. I mean please......please hear all of us and fix this game. I want to enjoy it so bad but there was nothing fun about that game and so many others like that. I spent all this time grinding missions to unlock players and I’m honestly ready to shelve the game unless they do something soon. Ugh.

Honestly I would rather the hitting and fielding work right and lose every game. At least then I could say “ok I can always get better”. But now it’s like rolling the dice and hoping lady is on your side each game.....

Yeah lotta my games lately have come down to who gets a few dribblers through the hole in a row or who gets that one 8th inning HR.

Lost one today....another 0-0 snore fest with a couple weak hits each then in the 7th inning my opponent takes a slider in the dirt over the wall. Cody Berlinger, a lefty batter hits a slider at his ankle over the right field wall just inside the foul pole....a virtual impossibility but not in this game..another 1-0 loss...guess right on an ankle burner and hit a bomb...guess right on 30 pitches in the strike zone get 1 or 2 squib hits....

I feel like the latest patch might have made things worse. I'm not sure. I'll know more after I play more than just one VERY ANNOYING GAME THAT I PLAYED.



Frustrated that I played a guy who swung at anything and everything and I just kept hitting things to the warning track and he'd get a bunch of garbage squibblers and liners.



To top it off, did fielding just become worse? Because his players dropped 2 VERY routine balls, and my Mike Trout couldn't catch a routine one in center field allowing him a free run. I also can't stand when my players won't catch weak pop-ups --- I kept trying to get Ozzie Smith to settle under one but instead he lets the ball hit him in the ******* chest without even attempting to catch it.



And it was great for them to patch in auto pausing for common sense situations when it comes to pinch hitting....in battle royale. Can we do the same for ranked seasons? It is completely ridiculous that I can be here mashing pause but the pitcher can select to pitch faster than me and get a free strike.

I just played two events games, which were my first online games in ages, and I dont know how you people play this mess of a game online.

Almost everything seems random. Squaring balls up all game and cant hit anything, meanwhile this kid is late and hitting bloopers and swinging bunts that hes beating out all over the place. My first baseman dropping throws right at him. Lazy *** throwing animations. Hitting corners all game but cant get a call on a corner. But Joey Gallo is the best so everything he made contact with went over the fence. I hate myself for even having him in my lineup but you have to.

Also the very first game I play this kid is fake bunting me like crazy from the very first pitch, pausing the game after every pitch.

Look at the patch notes....they increased the chance of better PCI contact left and right. What about Center of the damn plate? All this did was continue to aid people who swing at everything. A pitch straight down the heart of the plate with good timing and PCI is still an out 90% of the time. Ridiculous. Why is it so hard? Do they not understand the sport or physics? Well timed swings at pitches right over the plate should have a high hit ratio and pitches out of the zone should have less hit ratio....it’s that simple... I’m like a broken record but hitting is completely backwards and patient hitters are punished.

Everyone I play is the most patient hitter on the face of the earth because theyre very clearly just sitting in strike zone batting view(which I will continue to say is one of the worst things that ever happened to this game online).

That’s annoying too. You have some bad luck because I would say my games are:
50% swing at everything.
30% normal
20% ridiculous patient

I played two games since the latest patch and I dunno it seems better to me. Less weak contact on squared up balls. More line drives vs squib hits. And the double plays are way better.

Literally the worst part of the game for me.

I personally am hitting fine post patch in my three event games. I don't swing at everything but yep there are times I square up balls right off the plate.

I notice no difference with the patch. Just lost my 4th straight RS game all 1-0. This guy had the worst plate discipline to date and I struck him out 14 times in the game. I gave up 1 hit which was a Sinker way outside but somehow he drilled it over the wall. In reality a batter would probably fall over the plate trying to swing at a pitch like that but not in this game. As usual my well timed swings on fat pitches resulted in weak grounders and pop outs. Stepping away for a bit because it’s simply not fun playing this game anymore

Glad it’s not just me - I had a win percentage of about .600 so I’m not good, but not terrible, and I just logged in and played a few for the first time in forever and thought I’d forgotten how to play. Glad it’s not just me.
