It's the ONE thing left I need to compete that set of missions, the reward isn't even worth it, but it'll be nice to have an extra postseason card.

I mean....no more than 6 allowed hits in 25 innings? Wtf?

Yup, it's the only offline content left for DD I haven't done, but I'm not going to even try anymore as it's just ridiculous. You're looking at nearly an hour of incredible dull pitching for each attempt, knowing you're a couple of bloops away from having to restart the whole thing.

Moments in general are just incredibly un-fun tbh. It's a shame as I like the general things they've done this year with the 1st inning program stars, the XP reward path and all, but their just isn't any fun offline content at all. If it all just continues down this moments line then it's going to be a very dull year for me

For some reason, the shield icons display all my fielders as commons in Moments, and then they play like they are commons. only the diamond fielders are even displayed as bronzes. I get the feeling they deliberately handicapped moments to sneakily make it tougher

I have a feeling they are going to add a near impossible to do 3 HRs with Goldschmidt.

I have him ion my DD team and he gets quite a few hits but I am not hitting a lot of bombs with him.

Tried this trash again. First game with arrieta: no hitter

16 innings left and can only allow 6. I'm allowing the 7th hit in inning 16, aren't I?

If I don't get this run..I'll focus on beating conquest then come back . that and this mission is all I have left before I devote my energy to world series run


Second game---complete game 2 hitter, though I could have lived without that second hit coming with 2 outs in the top of the 9th [emoji849]

7 more innings, can't give up 5 hits [emoji120]

Third game, got 3 innings done, bailed when 2 hit came in mid of lineup

Here we go...jason hammel 4 innings only 2 allowable hits is what's needed. **** i hate this lol

oh my god I ****ing did it. Sorry for the liveblog lol but yall see the pain this mission is. I had given up 2 hits in the 4th game, one in the last inning, *** **** was I sweating before that last out. I seriously thought i was going to screwed on the very last out

Veteran is a lot harder to pitch to this year, I've been lit up more on veteran than HOF

Finished it last night as well. Arrieta is the worst of the bunch. I didnt give up a hit with Lester or Hendricks but still expected to lose somehow at the end.

I hate the moments that require you to get X amount of hits or bases over Y amount of games. I always seem to get walked 2-3 times a game, and in my experience they're almost always tied to a "Strike out only three times" type challenge


Rather than Double Post, I'm going to edit this one. Bryce Harper has a challenge on All Star to get 2 hits, a HR, and 2 RBI in one game. I had 3 doubles, a single, and a solo home run, but because literally nobody was ever on base it didn't count. This is infuriating

The stupid CPU just throws a ton of balls when you get close. I only needed one hit for Andruw Jones thing and they walked me 8 times!

I’ve posted my views and my overall assessment of what they have done this year......I’m reading these posts from long time Show players and respected show players at that so I know I’m not crazy. It’s a bad set up and we all know it. We also know it’s not an intentional screw by SDS, at least we hope not. Let’s hope they read the legit gripes and correct things moving forward

yeah it’s launch week so they got a chance to revise, like last year when they changed doubles/triples to just Xbh

I think they need to tweak the RNG for some of these challenges. Ones where RBIs are needed should have a higher chance to generate RISP. and maybe the few "Total Base" challenges can be changed to include walks(I know the stat doesn't include walks)

Yeah that patch clearly took away the ability to use sliders for these moments. I only had created player ones left but I dont think Ill be doing them anytime soon now.

Hilarious that they didnt have the balls to mention that they patched that though.
