Signature series Nolan Ryan has really nasty stuff but his control is awful. Really hard to paint the corners with him, kept getting good releases that always veer out of the zone

      My Best:

All-Star Steve Finley is awesome and affordable. He has been the player of the game 7 times in RS. I hit a homer with him in almost every game. He rakes lefty and rightys the same.

The Dave Parker you get for completing the Reds collection is another great card and the Reds are easy to complete.

Both those guys are really solid defensively too.

I took the 95 Goose with my boss pack pick and he’s my go to closer. Great stuff.

      Underrated:

I like the LS silver Pat Neschek. Guys can’t hit him and he’s a great 7th or 8th inning guy.

77 Rookie JT Realmuto rips singles and the occasional HR

      Worst:

Don’t really have one but I don’t hit as well as I would like with LS Trea Turner. He’s my lead off hitter and grounds out too much. I also can’t hit with LS Soto to good.

I have no idea how many of yall got Kerry Wood, but I can't hit that guy.

Also, pretty pricey reward, but the Kenny Lofton you get from completing the AL Central is a PROBLEM. I don't have him yet but he terrified me everytime he was at bat and on the bases. Great fielder too.

I can’t hit Wood either but I had him and couldn’t pitch with him lol. I sold him and picked up Prior and pitch well with him. They were roughly the same price

I might have to play him then, hes been sitting on my bench behind Acuna, Andruw Jones and Steve Finley.

Max Muncy absolutely rakes for me. He can hit both righties and lefties with power, and isn't too slow for a first basemen. Easily the budget beast this year.

Anyone get that Mattingly WS card? He was my favorite player growing up but I’m not sure I wanna spend the Stubs to get him when SS Frank Thomas is lurking.

I feel like everyone is just getting these cards to sell. Don't see a single person using it lol. But, if he was your favorite player growing up, maybe you can nab him for cheap and pick another SS card up? I doubt there will be an enormous difference between him and frank

Anyways, I'm on a 9-1 BR run at the moment, and a couple players stick out to me:

LS Corey Seager is back to his 2018 tricks, dude is killing it. Too bad he been trash in real life and might drop

Trevor Hoffman....meh. But I'll still probably take him so I can get more sig cards faster

Don't ever pick breakout or all star AJ Ramos from the Marlins, it is trash

Finally, Adam Duvall has hit 3 pinch hit game winners for me. I could kiss you, you beautiful man. Just get me 3 more wins and Machado is mine...

If I get Manny, I could finish Yanks/Indians....

The NL Central collection Edmonds is really good. I just got done playing a WS player that’s rated over 1000 and he had 2 no doubt homers and 2 more basehits. Even if the bring a lefty in, he has 99 contact vs left so he’s not a liability.

Also I can’t hit at all with SS Hornsby and Thomas. I might not being patient enough when they’re hitting, but both are batting in the low .200s for me.

Thought the Keith Hernandez card would be garbage but he's been really good for me, doesn't have the power but is a singles machine and his glove on defense is the best at first base that I've seen so far with the exception of Mattingly.

83 Alan Trammel has replaced Seager and Story at SS , a great lead off or 7/8 hole hitter and plays amazing on defense.

Diamond wise CarGo and Dante Bichette are amazing to use. Arenado is solid too.

84 Cecil and the Matt Belisle card from the Rockies affinity are my best pen arms. Belisle has a filthy sweeping curve.

The Team Affinity Donaldson is meh at best. Makes good contact most of the time, I personally just can’t find the gaps.

The Team Affinity Brantley is pretty good. Well-rounded Card that can occasionally hit one out.

My best card may be Jason Kendall his PCI is massive.

81 Hal Newhouser is pretty good, may upgrade to the diamond one soon but I don’t see a huge difference between the two besides some more control.

I just got the Jose Reyes, I’ll let you know how he is in a few days.

Mike Zunino stinks. He can't hit, which makes his power fraudulent

I have Morgan and really like him. If you pull it with him it's line drives for days, with surprisingly big power, while also having ridiculous speed and defence. Pretty perfect for me tbh, as he seems to have a quick swing and be better on low pitches, which is my happy zone.
