Well I’m glad I whined earlier because tonight I did pull a diamond!

After beating the NL Central Showdown (hit 5 HRs off Hader) I used all 20 points on the Cubs which gave me three TA packs. 2nd pack pulled deGrom! Was great since I finished the Mets collection. 9 left!

I wish. I would say I play more than 5 hours a day and I am at Silver 25.

The headliner packs screw me whenever I buckle and buy a set of 5. I got about 30k in stubs for the bronze/silver/gold collection... I was debating on whether to get a 20 pack, look for a way to make an impact on my DD team with a player or two... Instead I really wanted that second baseman (can't remember the prospects name) even though Gleyber Torres is raking for me (only non diamond in my lineup, I keep Altuve on the bench).

I went and bout 5 packs, and got a few silvers and 1 gold. Nobody of any impact or importance. I was going to buy Kirby Yates, Champman or Hader... They were awesome for me last year.

It seems like the packs this year aren't giving as many good cards as last years game. I pulled 7 diamonds in my pre-order packs last year and that set me on a good path. I got Aranado out of the 20 packs this year. Sold him for about 90k, and started to fill in some gaps.

It seems like the "odds" they show for the cards aren't what they're claiming this year. A few ppl I know and play with have gotten more common players than anything. When I was opening the pre-order packs, I think it was 7 or so packs in a row I got nothing but all common cards. That's just nuts. To come away from a 20 pack with 1 diamond, 3 gold, and 2 silver players... I call shenanigans on those card pull odds. But here I am, still trying...

Glad I didn't sell it at that time. It was going for 70 to 75k. It's up to 90k now. I played a handful of games with the card as well and he hits laser beams all over the field for me (and i suck LOL). He can also play firstbase, may hold onto him for a bit and see how it goes.



I have 125k stubs right now. I have 17 MLB Teams collections done. Mainly did those for XP and early on some of the players you get as rewards to make my team better etc. Now i'm looking at the rewards for doing the other teams which cost a bit more and the reward not really worth it.

They rolling out these headliners twice a week, April players now etc. Almost not worth it to finish off the other teams unless i pull a Cole or Beli in a pack etc. I want that Piazza badly though..

Just waiting on a new Mets card LOL.

What do you usually play?

Gaining XP has many different ways some are better and faster than others. Collections are HUGE for XP as are Showdowns.

I play offline versus CPU MTO and moments. Once in a while ranked but usually lose and BR Events and Showdowns are too difficult for me.

Just add a full HR Derby to your routine. I do one in the morning and one before bed. Usually jumps me about 1 full level per derby. It’s boring but I do it to help the grind a bit.

I’ve done 20 team collections. Almost 8 full MTO’s. 80 games of ranked seasons. I ended last event with 120 wins. I did all the conquest maps once through. I’ve done all the free player programs. I have all the special collections done except for one or two. Also took my Mets MTO into a franchise and just played the critical moments up to the playoffs. Then played the entire playoff run etc.

Just pick some things and grind.

Man I’ll never play games like this again when this quarantine is over. Lol.

I had the SDS, McNeil, Snell, Gallo, and May streams going all at once. Lol.

Got done playing a few event games and went to check my packs and I had 4 twitch drops. All of them got me nothing but was pumped I had so many.

Ripped 9 team affinity packs and still no diamond lol. I got a couple golds tho which is good right now. Hit another diamond out of a BIAH pack but it was Buehler. Still holding out hope to hit one of the big boys to finish collections.

I got a Kershaw, J Ramirez and Freeman last night from some affinity packs after running a couple stage 1 showdowns to get the Braves and Marlins up to 70. Not great diamonds but 3 out of 12 packs I'll never complain about.

Still have never pulled a diamond out of affinity packs and i have a bunch of teams up to 70 and 120, dont get your hopes up haha

I have been playing DD for several years now. Best I ever got was a 94 diamond Andrew McCutchen from a random card after the game back in 17 I think the year. Sold him to round out a few collections and buy more boxes. Never came close again to one.

Well tonight I bought a ten pack. I’ve probably bought about $50 is packs. I like to take $10 on pay day and see what happens. This year Bryce Harper was my best pull. I sold it back quick to buy another 10 pack box set.

Tonight on pay day I got the next 10 pack. Third pack in and I see a diamond. It pulls up center fielder from AL. I almost died right there. Reveal and there he is. Mike Trout. It took everything not to sell him haha.

I usually have terrible luck pulling diamonds from packs. But this week for some reason, I pulled Morton, Strasburg, and Harper.
