    1st Innung Program Question

Can you work on the program after the 8 days are up? I am at 281 points and want to know how many hours to put into the game. Besides for Showdown and collections, how can I put the most time in in regards to games themselves to get there?

No, you can't simply grind after the program ends because the next inning program starts immediately. You can still do missions/Showdown/collections all year and the first-inning specific rewards will count in the first inning.

Guess I am going to have to do the dailies and do a lot of the conquest games since they give 1 for every game it seems. I am a novice player looking for easiest way to get there

Dailies are a great way to do it. Franchise/RTTS/MTO and literally any gameplay in MLBTS also works toward program stars if those are of interest to you.

I hear conquests get one a game. If I do 9 inning game will it give 3 versus CPU?

The rough average is 1 star per 3 innings played. That's across any mode so a normal Conquest game nets 1 and a normal 9 inning nets 3. Any Moments you haven't finished will still apply towards the 1st Inning once it switches to the 2nd but as previously said, all your daily grind will apply to the new inning.

However, the missions for Ranked wins and hits/strikeouts with the Program players and such will still be active. As far as I remember from last year, as you knock out wins they will count in all inning programs. So the 10 wins or whatever in Ranked, if you transition to the 2nd Inning with 8/10 and then win 2 games you will fulfill that mission while also having 2 wins toward the 2nd Inning. I think. I'm pretty sure this is how it worked last year.

Basically, if you're grinding towards something in the 1st Inning, whether it's the bosses or any of the bonus stuff, play as much as humanly possible before the new inning starts. Do as many of the dailies as possible. Even if you don't enjoy online, load up a team with whatever your Innings daily is and go into events and just grind out until you get what you need. Even the XBH or strikeout dailies will eventually be met if you just grind it enough. And keep in mind you'll be grinding innings for affinity and stuff as well so you'll be working towards other stuff as well.

Thanks for so much help. My biggest issue now is Granderson moments last two with a lot of obstacles and biggest is IRod 8 hits. I have switched to dashboard about 25 times so far . I need 3 hits

Moments can definitely be a pain because you have no control over what the CPU is going to do. There were so many last year that just resulted in pure anger because you would get so close and then suddenly the CPU wouldn't throw strikes, or they'd bean you, or you needed an XBH and the CPU runners in front of you wouldn't advance. So much stuff.

If you just need to accrue hits, try to be more patient at the plate. Don't swing until you get 2 strikes. Try this method a couple times and see if you get better results. Really, that approach is better for Showdown since there's nothing else you have to do. Moments have specific requirements and you get punished for walking.

But sit back and just wait for two strikes before offering. One of my big issues with Moments last year (from a personal standpoint) was I would get so frustrated with them and want to get them over with that I just swung at everything. So I ended up with a ton of weak contact and just not getting positive outcomes, which fed into the anger and frustration which made me hit worse and so on. It really snowballs.
