I think I'm seeing the frustration with the Pudge moments.

This card sucks. Balls dead center in the PCI have like no exit velocity and just don't wanna fall. I'm just now starting out these and I can already tell I'm gonna wanna kill myself during the longer ones.

Mathews was so easy too lmfao

yeah jesus christ. I'm not wasting my time on this at all. Mathews was fairly easy but his starter card wasn't completely atrocious.

Pudge with his sub 40 power can't generate exit velo to save his life. My good/okays are going to RF. That makes no sense. Dead center PCI is weak *** contact. I got 2 hits idk how many times in the second moment where you need 3 and then the ball is just dying off the bat. No thanks. I feel bad for even trying to give advice on these to anyone because this is abysmal.

I have my 3rd evolution pick coming up and I was leaning toward Pudge since i already have Eck and Mathews, and don’t have a need for anymore outfielders. This is making me rethink my choice.

I'm sure there's plenty of people that grinded out for the card and some that didn't even have too much trouble. For me, I just don't see the upside since it's not an endgame card. Really the 91 Pudge is only marginally better than Realmuto who I have already. And with Biggio being the meta Catcher and eventually doing those it just isn't worth the frustration for me.

I mean it was just abysmal how bad the ball was coming off the bat. That was in a Moment on Rookie. After last year, I just won't bother with something like that anymore because it isn't fun. And the ultimate reward isn't that great.

Pudge is just all around bad, either card. Anytime I see someone using either card online I know it's an automatic out and it pretty much is. That and the Griffey Jr card are as close to automatic outs as you'll get. I'll just throw a very hittable pitch to Pudge to get a 1 or 2 pitch out. Seeing people struggling with it in the challenges is not surprising.

Chose Eddie Mathews for my 2nd EVO card and his moments are hard. I gave up on pudge.

I did Pudge first and Eckersley second. When I unlock the pack again I'll probably do Eddie Matthews.

I finally completed the Pudge evolution, I had to switch it to directional hitting and just hold up on the left stick and swing away to hit the home runs required. I actually have been hitting well with Pudge online so it was worth it to me, but I have heard that the Eckersley evolution is way easier to complete so that will probably be my choice when I get my next card in the silver ranks.

Ok, quick question. Completed pudge last night, isnt there an updated card to get? Maybe I'm missing something but I still only have his rookie card and no others.

I'm not a scripting conspiracy theorist, but....

I went back to working on Eck. I had put him away for a while. Last time I did the 9 inning shutout moment vs A's, Chad F'n Pinder took him deep with 2 out in the ninth. He breezed through it this time.

So, on to the 9 inning shutout moment vs Tigers. He's breezing along, gives up two weak hits through 8. Then, PH Jordy F'n Mercer (yes, same middle name as Pinder) takes him deep in the ninth.

I guess the SDS guys just want me to do these twice, but go 9 innings the first try.

EDIT: This is hilarious. I just tried it again. Again, he breezes through 8. This time, the known bomber, Cameron Maybin, turns on a 96 mph fastball up and in and takes him deep.

Started on Cargo this morning before work. I know the moments are on low difficulty but man love his swing so far, just plowing through the moments. Knocked out all but one of stage 1 in 30 min.

I debated between him and Eck for awhile but I really prefer hitting with lefties even if it's a lefty lefty matchup. And pitching isn't really my problem, scoring runs is.

Just started Cargo today myself. He has a sweet one hander.


I noticed though the program gives you the Rockies 90 overall diamond once complete, however you use his Athletics 91 overall in several of the moments. Is that another available card of maybe a future TA card?

I'm not at home right now but I'm pretty sure the program unlocks the 91. But I could be wrong, I'll have to look when I get home.

Got Ek tonight, he was final one I needed. Completed the moments first try and then struck out 15 with relievers to get his diamond.

Now back to MTO’s lol.
