Exchange Confusion

I like to exchange my duplicates only in the player exchanges. But in the exchange screen, it only shows "x2" if you have 3 of that player. Is there a way to quickly check if players are duplicates, without going back to another screen?

If a player is on one of your squads, it doesn't count one. Same with equipment if your DD/RTTS player is using it.

It doesn't count in the exchange screens if it is unsellable. For example, I have two Yadi Molina cards. But in the exchange screen it only shows I have one, because one is unsellable. So from the exchange screen I don't know if I have duplicates or not. I would be OK exchanging Yadi knowing I had a duplicate. But I don't know if I have a duplicate without going back to my inventory screen.

I'm wondering if there is a quick way to check that without getting out of the exchange screen and going back to the inventory screen to decide if I have a duplicate before exchanging.

If you have 3 of a player and you've locked one into your collection it's only going to show 2 in the exchanges.

I'm not a 100% sure I understand what you're asking but I exchange no sell cards all the time. In fact those are the only ones I exchange. If it's sellable I take the stubs.

Thanks for the responses, but that's not what I'm asking.

The problem is you can't tell if you have duplicates from the exchange screen, if you have two of a player. In the example above, it does not show Yadi with a "x2" in the exchange screen, even though I know I have two Yadis. I have to go back to the My Inventory screen to confirm I have two Yadis and can exchange him while still keeping one Yadi.

I'm wondering if there is a less cumbersome way to confirm you have a duplicate.

Actually it does, if you press x on that particular card it will ask you how many cards you want to exchange if you have multiple. You're not locked into the exchange until you press the options button and select ok.

But in my Yadi example, it doesn't do that. It looks like there is only one, and when I click on him, the pop-up box doesn't ask how many I want to exchange. I only have the option to exchange one. The same with other players. The pop-up box only comes up when it shows x2, x3, etc.

EDIT: I just found a worse example. In my Red Sox My Inventory screen, I own two Verdugos, one sellable, one not. If I try to exchange him as a Yankee rival, he doesn't even light up, as though I don't own any. I hate to keep belaboring this issue, especially if no one else sees it or cares, I'm just wondering what's up.
