Who in their 30's and 40's has a pre-paid debit card though? That's something parents give to kids, or controlling husbands give to their wives, no adult male has one do they? I guess maybe people with such bad credit ratings that they can't get an actual bank account?

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
With the FS still trickling out as Headliners and rewards I would imagine this wave is upper end diamonds of Legends/flashbacks of current players. I think most people seemed in agreement that stage 4 would be something Finest related so this seems like the time for them to release the legends everyone wants. Or at least something close to it.
I would hop back in if they incorporated the team I built like I said before. Not really interested in grinding the showdown circus mode over and over. Maybe if they let you use your roster to try and put up 16 without doing all the moments I would try playing again.
I just got GO KG in 2K and can use him in 99% of the offline content. I don't think I can ever go back to the show or at least DD when I know another game exists that actually let's me use the cards I've earned to continue grinding. Even their Evo cards accumulate stats in every mode, not just online, so there's incentive to actually play the game.Read my OS articles: https://www.operationsports.com/author/corydell/Comment

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
I haven't played in two weeks as I just wasn't feeling it this year. I think it's part burnout and part that I just hate the hitting in this game. No matter what I do I suck at hitting online. It's just not fun and the offline stuff just feels like a long grid to get nothing. Also it seems WAY harder to hit a diamond in a pack this year. And if you do it's worth nothing. Meh.. I have better things to do with my time.Comment

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
The Show absolutely needs to bring real offline grinds back next year. Even something as simple as opening the daily multiplayer missions to offline users would be a big asset. They improved it a little bit this year after the real dearth in 19 but they massively overcorrected from 18 (where the only real problem was the ridiculous memorabilia exchanges). Give a little bonus to online players, sure, but every baseline challenge in the game should be available offline. Do something like (get 20 hits with X card in any mode for 10 program stars PLUS get 10 hits online for an additional 10 stars). Just find a way to make it so people can't cheese the offline grinds (i.e. only complete 9-inning games on all-star count) and you're gold.Last edited by brunopuntzjones; 06-25-2020, 05:52 PM.Comment

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
Played again. Turned it off after two games. Rollie Fingers. Diamond closer. Back to back games, gives up game winning winning homeruns to the Marlins. I cant with this game anymore. I understand if im playing the Yankees, Angels, etc etc...that happens. A Hall of Fame closer giving up dingers to what is basically a triple A team....both games, the hammering, ball smashing, Johnathon Villiar...no. No way.
Some people will be like "get gud". Shut it. Pitching sucks this year. I dont wanna hear about your hitting woes.
Pitching on pulse. Im going low away...hitting good or perfect...THERES NO REASON WHAT SO F****** EVER FOR THE PITCH TO GO UP AND IN!!! NONE!!! WHATS THE F****** POINT OF TELLING ME GOOD OR PERFECT IF THE PITCH ISNT GOING TO THE LOCATION THAT SAYS GOOD AND PERFECT?!?!?!?!?!

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
I almost stopped this weekend.
Was doing the Zunino program. I was doing the 2 XBH moment after ripping off the rest on a roll. Hit a double the first AB and cracked a walk-off HR. The moment didnt take though. When I hit the double, the throw was a little off line and (I guess) they called it a single and an error (it wasnt close).
After that, was an endless slog of not being able to complete that moment. Boyd was glitched or something and wouldnt throw a strike. When he did, it would be 100% perfect outside corner. I was swinging on 3-ball counts because walks dont help. Went on do do other stuff and I just couldnt be successful.
I stopped playing and picked it up last night and it seemed to be normal.Comment

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
I don’t play online only offline dd primarily and about to not even follow anymore.
Other than a few games a few weekends ago have not played in 5/6 weeks.
Just been following forums and news to see if something excites me but actually turns me off more to the game.
Haven’t given up this early in the show in a long time.Comment

Re: has anyone stopped playing?
As an offline guy, I’ve definitely slowed down to basically whatever my 2 points for the inning requires per day. I’ve got all the monthly rewards and most of the featured players. Repeatedly doing the USA map in conquest is old. I’m not beating myself up for cargo or eck cause they won’t even be in my lineup. I’ll never afford or pull the big money diamonds so I’ll never get mantle. Quarantine definitely gave me too much time, so burnout definitely happened. I’m trying a dynamic march to October, but every game goes to extras and it’s not fun getting outs and moving to such a high pitch difficulty and getting outs at bat and moving to such a low hitting difficulty. I really wish for an offline league or challenge, but that will never happen.Comment
