Any predictions on content with the season starting up?

I doubt "new" modes will be added to DD, outside of monthly awards, but Im curious to see what will be added to other modes like Franchise, and MTO. Will SDS give us a short season mode to replicate the actual MLB, with all rule sets in place, or just leave it as is.

I havent played in a while, hopefully its something good to get me back into it.

SDS has already stated that they are making NO new additions to franchise to accommodate this season (which is the smart move as they could literally 'break' the mode for people playing existing franchises - some of whom have been playing the same franchise for YEARS).

MtO - Again, I see nothing changing. Because they (shamefully) tied it to DD rewards, any changes here would be construed as "unfair".

The one improvement (non-DD) will be the roster updates. Hopefully they will FINALLY get more players into the game and make a lot of badly needed roster changes as the stock roster (and all the custom ones made off of it) are horribly imbalanced.

On the DD side:

- I think we will see Two monthly awards programs based off of the current season (to come out in Sep/Oct - the Aug program will likely again be a 'retro' program as there will be very few July stats to base an August program off of.

- If we actually DO get a full season (which I doubt), we will probably see the normal 'finest' and 'postseason' cards/programs (I suspect the Finest program could be Stage 4 TA).

- Live series guys will begin seeing their normal "Inside Edge" gains and SDS has stated roster updates (which will update ratings for LS cards) will be weekly. The weekly updates will probably be quite dubious though with such a limited sample size.
