Of course you'll have your typical LSD you get every year, but who do you think that hasn't been a LSD before, that starts off this year as one.
Also, who isn't a LSD this season after being one last year?

This almost feels impossible to answer with how aggressive they were with upgrades and downgrades last year. I think Soto will be 90+ and replace Arenado as one of the gatekeepers.

My general prediction will be a lot of borderline diamonds in the 83 or 84 range to start the year, including guys that could be diamonds already, just to account for that weird year last year. Like I think it's wild Max Fried never got to diamond (not biased promised) so guys like him starting at 84 with quick bumps to diamond.

I'm like that with Phillies. Lol I know Harper will be a solid 88/90 diamond, but I also think they have Hoskins, Nola, and Wheeler on the borderline of gold and diamond.

I think Harper will be an 86, Nola 84 and Hopkins 82. Wheeler feels like 81

I think Freeman and Acuña will both start at 90+. None of the Braves' young stud pitchers makes diamond to start.

Mookie Betts probably gets a high diamond at the start. I think Soto starts somewhere between 87 and 89.

I could see Javier Baez dropping to 83 or 84 to start because he was so rough last year. He might have dropped below diamond if he wasn't the cover star.

Corey Seager might start as a diamond but he could also be a high gold.

Ketel Marte probably starts as a high gold.

I didn't need him but odds are that my pack luck will be screwed for months, lol.

I can't decide exactly my approach yet. I'm definitely doing at least 2 bundles maybe 3. I have cash back saved up from my credit cards that I'll just use for those on top of the stubs I get from preorder.

All depends on the collection tbh. I'd even open up the wallet for A-Rod tbh as long as the divisional rewards are decent too.

Man between this and the new Magic set dropping basically the same week I'm gonna be broke as ****. Now that I think about it I almost don't want a good collection reward [emoji23]

My goal is to avoid buying stubs completely (MAYBE I talk myself into buying 150k right away or at the first sale just to have a buffer in case I want to try targeting cards that I can only get on the market) this year and to just enjoy what I get. Especially since I don't care to play competitively online, I'd rather build my team slowly and have reasons to use the lower rated flashbacks and legends I earn for longer.

My frustration with DD always peaks around the time I start thinking about or spending money on microtransations and I rediscover the joy of playing once I cut it out.

I never buy stubs, but I do do the ultimate edition. I use my bonus preorder stubb's on Phillies and Indians, and pray to the DD Pack Gods that out of the bundle I can pull another diamond or two to complete the live series collection.

If I pulled Trout early or another high price diamond early, I'd probably sell them them to complete the live series collection and hope my stub total rides to grab them again.

If I pulled him like SUPER early; I'd put a really high sell price on him and wait a while. If he sold, I'd just 'bank' the stubs and use them to buy low on other guys to re-sell.

I'm probably going to really bide my time this year when it comes to completing the collection....unless.....

They somehow find a way to make Live Series players more viable long-term vs being "throwaway" guys a couple of months after launch.

I started the game a month late, didn't spend any money, didn't get pre-order stuff and still got basically every card in the game plus a buy order for chipper at 1m that I don't have and likely won't get.

I got stage 4 cards I wanted quick like Soto, orel, and degrom... The rest I just chipped away at

I also wasn't very good on start and I feel I'm pretty good now even tho I can't make championship series anymore, lol. My bullpen blows games.

I'm much more patient now at the plate.

I collected all cards right away last year for stubs and cards and stuff. I'll prob just do the same strategy. I played the market some last year but I think being better for the show 21 I'll be able to get thru showdown, conquest, daily missions, events, etc much easier this year.

Ill prob get all the event cards worth getting except for those legend difficulty ones. If they have a moonshot event I'll knock prestige out easier this year. I never got didi prestiged but I did get Cody #1 done.
