      So is the first program where I need to buy (a home run derby card) in order to complete? I think so. I'll wait on prices to drop or these cards showing up as packs in another program "prize line".

          No. You get a free one in the program itself.

          I didn't buy a pack and managed to get Alonso.

          No denying that 25 HR with one player is a pretty fierce grind, but it is doable without having bought a pack.

                  it's "just" 25 hits for the Home Run Derby players...not homers.

                  You are right, it's definitely doable...these players are so incredibly overpowered. I think my HRD player was Ohtani and I got through all of the missions by playing half of the United States conquest map.
