The only cards that are worth big money right now are Trout, Acuña, deGrom, Ohtani, Tatis, Guerrero, Trea Turner out of the Live Series, and then to a lesser extent Pujols out of the Chase pack and Live Series Scherzer. Nobody else is going for much more than 50k. Even the Ranked Seasons World Series rewards are under 50k. Last year the WS rewards and the 1st Inning Bosses were big sellers. This year it's really just get lucky with packs.

Yeah, I noticed there's only a few cards that are big sellers. But do people spend stubs on those expensive packs to get those big selling cards? All the cards you earn in events are non sellers. I don't get a whole lot of stubs so I'm just confused by the whole process. Of course there's people that have already finished the face of the franchise thing and I'm only on level 8 or 9 and that's with playing nearly non stop for a week. It's like WTF?

A lot of it is just earning packs. I haven't gotten particularly lucky (best pull is Juan Soto), but I was still able to buy Acuña and then finish off the Braves to get Hank Aaron. Some people buy the big packs, but honestly that's almost always a bad idea. Just get the packs that are available to you, and save your stubs to buy specific players. Or do specific collections (you can get some packs from collecting 200 live series free agents, for example, which is pretty cheap to do). Do some programs; the cover athlete program gets you 5 regular packs I believe, plus I believe a highlights pack and the cover athlete choice pack. You just get those, hope to get lucky, and grind events, ranked seasons, mini seasons, or conquest to your fancy. The Mystery Conquest map is super easy. Win 3 games, get 5 packs, and it's repeatable.

I just gave up after about 30 attempts. Besides the ton of "screamers" to the outfield for outs I got weary of the usual moments and showdowns shenanigans where you see dozens of warning track outs and miraculous diving catches to prevent extra bases.

I got lucky with one of the packs and got a Vlad Guerrero Jr card that I was able to sell for 157,000 stubs. Then I turned around and got the special packs as a result and got an Albert Pujols rookie card and sold it for like 90,000 stubs. I'm pretty happy with some of my decisions. I've got a really good collection of players and equipment now. Don't have any full collections yet but I'm close on a couple. I've gotten hooked on this thing after not caring about DD previously.
