That's Play vs. CPU, and it's a full 9 inning game.

Arguably my favorite mode in DD - while not particularly rewarding except for getting lots of XP and parallel XP (and even more if you play at high difficulty), it's the closest to offline play that you're going to find in the mode.

It's become a replacement of sorts for the many no-strings-attached single games of the Show I play year round - and while you can use your strongest cards to absolutely pummel the MLB-level teams, I find it much more fun to set up a lineup of similar structure to them.
