Just from messing around my current squad is a really fun build. Using Buxton for his boost is a blast so far. There's even more potential with guys like Tatis if I decide I want to grab them to max the team out. Right now I'm only on Tier 2 boosts.

I'm burned out, though. Work has been crazy and I played pretty much all day today. I'm way behind where I normally am since I'm usually at least halfway done with the USA map by now. I beat the Rockies so far lol.

I think I'm just going to jump into Storylines next time I log in and knock them both out.

What cards do you get from Jeter storyline and how long does it take? Are they squad worthy cards?

Opened my Digital Deluxe packs. Only thing of note was Jose Ramirez who I’ll probably sell. Started the Jeter storyline which is fun and well done.

Back again. Last year was a disappointment and I don’t think I touched the game since September, but the changes this year sound promising and I ended up getting the gamepass bonus version to get early access. Hitting is slowly coming back to me, but I’m playing on veteran offline so not ready for BR or events yet.

Didn’t get much of anything in my pre-order/twitch packs. Only diamond I pulled was Adolis Garcia. I went with Buxton as my captain choice and it’s been fun so far. I never used captains last year because it didn’t seem necessary but this is a nice way to improve my terrible team while also making team building interesting.

So far, having a lot of fun. I’m working on conquest now, hoping to knock the rust off enough to play BR soon.

Finished Jeter program, was going to skip thru the videos then ended up interested and watched anyway. Didn't take too long. Rivera and posada cards are prob usable.

Also noticed the sinker is a little rough to get down, the lefty pitching isn't bad being in reverse otherwise than sometimes being on autopilot

The defensive moments also aren't heard but the randomize 5 button press does wake you up a bit

Finished Jeter Storylines and completely missed the side Moments with the Core Four haha.

Doing Negro Leagues now. Gibson moment facing Walter Johnson and it's Babe Ruth on the mound while they talk about Walter Johnson. That happen for anyone else?

Yeah, happened to me, too. I assume they intended for it to be Johnson but made a mistake or last minute switch.

I drafted babe in br. He defaults as a sp and I can't figure out how to make him a dh...since he's two way how do I get him to bat?

I have dihigo in my regular lineup and I can put him in dh slot while he's simultaneously in the rotation

I also feel like the timing window is much tighter this year... Just been playing on conquest all star but more times than not I'm way ahead or way behind on pitches

I tried the extreme skenes missions and failed. Could get a double with Holliday routinely but kept pulling all the inside stuff way foul.

I do like the Holliday card, so far haven't done as well with crewes as last year

I saw kriner uses the paddles with the edge controller? Anybody a fan of the paddles over hitting x?

Will I know be as awesome as kriner and destroy everyone if I pay 200 for the controller?

I'm assuming it's set up the same as the Elite controller on Xbox.

I didn't hate it. I personally switched back to buttons because I ended up with more checkswings than I wanted. Like, I'd have perfect timing and PCI placement but it would register as a checkswing and I wouldn't swing.

I'll never recommend anyone spending $200 for a controller as I've done it. I settled on the Razer Wolverine 2 for Xbox and it's the best I've used so far for less than half the price of the most expensive controllers.

I’ve tried paddles in the past, but ended up just going back to buttons. I didn’t do bad with it, but am just more comfortable with the buttons.

Unfortunately they fixed the casual play style setting affecting moments and showdowns.

Hit the daily xp cap limit for the first time in my life and says I still got 8 hrs until it resets 🙄

They severely cut the daily xp cap this year. I hope they adjust it, I’ve hit it a few times in previous games when trying to parallel players, and it took a lot of playing to hit it. This year, I’ve hit it just playing conquest. I really want to get to the captains pack, but it looks like it’s going to take a few days. I might actually break down and get the pack from the store, which I guess is the point of limiting the xp.

I've seen several people say this. Do we know what they lowered it to? Before it was just in-game XP but I wonder if it's including all XP at this point.

That might be my first real complaint this year if so. Especially with the programs being so long now.
