In all my years playing this game I’ve never had the insane pack luck that I just went through over the last [emoji640][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]] hours. All packs just earned through missions/programs. Pulled Trout, Mookie, Soto. I can never complain again haha.

Finished up The Rolen Reds Program along with the weekly Spotlight Program on Sunday. Also knocked out the new Mini Season during that process, 16 wins, then quit to the playoffs. Went back in after for the 3 hall of fame wins, plus the 23 wins and 28 win rewards.

I pulled a grand total of 0 diamonds.

Just need Witt, Judge and Ohtani, "just need" LOL...

I'm buying Judge today and that shall leave me with like 25k left in stubs.

Just finished the multi player program drop 3, nothing out of 50 packs, but pulled Jorge out of chase pack! Now just down to getting Ohtani, just 400k away LOL..

Today's Storylines update provides a non-multiplayer path towards getting John Donaldson (and progress towards Rolen) - Dihigo and Paige are no longer required from the multiplayer program. The 3 new additions all count towards the 20 you need for Donaldson.

Besides wondering why OS was suddenly broken in Tapatalk…

Working on going through the TA teams up through the 8k PXP goal, while waiting to get to the third cornerstone player pack (Took Palmer and Turner already). Love that the old stadiums work again, I love the Costco HQ one for Vs CPU grinding.

Slowly building towards the Rolen collections, but will have to conquer the stupid Pipeline Showdown one last time to do it. At least you now get 2 players per run instead of one!

anyway, as much as I like the game it's getting a little 24 stale again. I'm at 530k stubs and been hoarding trying to save for ohtani and then his price just keeps going up...stub/flash sale didn't help lower his price.

rolen, santana and now whatever this moonshot is I'm feeling collection overkill. My team has been pretty much the same for a month because in order to finish beltran collection I can't spend any stubs. I have ZERO of those pack based santana cards.

Early on this year I felt like with each program or each time I picked up the game I was improving my team and it was fun. Been like a month and I don't think I've improved my team at all. I went 5-1 on the recent weekend classic and pulled maybe garret crochet and thats it.

I don't HATE the gameplay like everyone else seems to it's just content is not rewarding for me for a long while now....double down any player that would improve my team is like 300k on the market from a chase pack or something.....but once again I can't buy any of those because I'm saving for the ever increasing priced ohtani

I see I'm not alone in feeling burnt out. I was out of town for a couple days as the 3rd inning started. When I came back, I inevitably picked up the game but found myself struggling to get excited for the new content. I played a few conquest games and moments and just felt bored, not really caring about the progression or rewards. I wound up deciding to mess around in franchise mode again.

I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's either:
1) I have played too much of this mode for too many years and there's simply no way for the basic rhythm of it to maintain interest over the long term. Maybe I've lost the appetite for grinding.
2) Any sort of deadlines in my leisure activities has become a problem for me. I sort of resent not being able to play at my own pace, choose my own objectives, etc. without falling behind some arbitrary target. I guess on a subconscious level I came back from my trip and the feeling that I had to "catch up" in order to stay on track for the new inning just alienated me.

Maybe I need to come up with some self-imposed limits on DD (like refusing to collect cards unless they're no-sells, playing conquest and nothing else except maybe moments), avoiding any real intention of completing programs, to make it part of a healthy mix of gameplay, because as always I never really get tired of just playing baseball.

At the same time, it would be nice if SDS' philosophy for offline content avoided timed content altogether. Just add more, never take away!

I’m not burned out, OS on the Tapatalk app just sucks now.

I got Santana from the collection, and it’s 100% worth it. The man is mashing for me in the Lefty Longball Miniseason. I need to complete 2nd half heroes and Standout to get Rolen, who I actually don’t love to play with anyway. I’m just a completionist, so I’d like to finish the collection just for the heck of it.

I’m down to the last dozen or so LS cards needed, but all are prohibitively expensive. At least while I’m buying/flipping the other pack cards for those collections. I’m on the opposite side from Valhalla on that divide, figure I’ll hold off until prices drop as better cards come out in the next couple of innings.

Figured I'd stop on with the usual update, the forums being brutal because of the change over has killed my checking in here etc.

But, everything per usual has been completed (even multiplayer drop 3) except the AL West in the Color Storm TA. I have 4 teams left to finish and I'm done. Not a bad grind for me anyway because of still needing Ohtani. The only card that I pulled worth a dang this year was Judge and that was early and that was when he was selling for barely 200k (I think). I've had to grind my way just playing the game and selling all the extra fodder we get and flipping some cards here and there on the market.

The flash sale dropped Ohtani down to around 617k to 623k at some point around 6pm and I was able to get a buy order in and finally get him. Wild ride this year having to legit buy basically every single dang card. Ridiculous that he was over 700k at one point, heck all these top rated cards combined now are over a thousand bucks in stubs, TERRIBLE.

Of course after grinding for Ohtani (get 20k for collecting all cards basically) I pull Skenes and Skubal to get some stubs back along with the 20k and I was able to finish off the Moonshot program by buying Mullins.

Already had Rolen, so now we just grind here and there and see what is to come. The DQ method was huge for me with stubs and packs.

I'm enjoying the gameplay big time this year, much more so than the last few years and I didn't have issues with those games either.

They need some changes online though.

Events: Need a reason to play besides missions, add some win missions that add up points wise towards the multiplayer program, and bring back a reward card.
BR: Add win missions like the above for Events to help with the multiplayer program.
Ranked: Once guys get to Goat, have them then go to another lobby for those games. If they choose not to allow them to play on Legend.
New Ranked: Need a 3 to 5 inning Ranked Mode to go with the above, or make Ranked 5 innings and then run Weekend Classic every 2 weeks and those games are all 9 innings!
Mini Seasons: I need a longer mini season, 60 games, home and home with the MLB Teams using their best cards as they drop all year. Reset rewards once a season etc.

Miniseasons for pure MLB teams would be nice…as long as I can keep the custom home ballpark, of course!

I also would love more of the non-XP rewards to reset every Miniseason, AND within the Miniseasons. The hits goal in lefty moonshot being the exemplar there. It’s an incentive to actually play the home and away games instead of just racing to the end.

After no really big pulls and having to grind for Ohtani for the collection, I finish all the color storm stuff (have both vouchers for 20 of the 30 teams in my journey, not far from completing them all) and of course my last few packs my son opened them and pulled a Bobby Whitt Jr, Skenes, Marte, and Miller. Ended up when it was all said and done at 500k. Used all of that and got cards in collections I didn't have, all set now except for needing one of Vlad Jr or Schwarber. Can't snag either, have to get back to the grind because I'm only at 82k. I did spend 100k on the Ultra Packs (my buddy pulled Schwarber) and I pulled the lowest 92 you can get both times. Sold off all of those cards and got back 50k, so all in all I gambled, got 2 packs, and only wasted 50k. Worth a shot.

Now I just need something to grind LOL. The new season starting Friday works out perfect. Meanwhile I have been playing Online Rated games. If I got to play guys I have in that mode in DD I'd never lose a game LOL.. I'm 14-0 and most games not close, but these guys stick it out at least and play all 9 innings, in DD these would be quits by the 6th inning.

As far as this latest content drop, the crying and moaning from the vocal minority again is comical. All the "creators" just whining and moaning. The cards are not the best, most stink, and the good ones behind a pay wall, but my god it is what it is here. Every game is riddled with these micro transactions, don't like it don't play it.. But if you tell them that, they cry about you telling them that. They are allowed to tell you what they don't like and you are not allowed to disagree with it etc. MLB community worse than the NHL one and that is saying something.

Completed all three cornerstone player programs last night, along with the player spotlight program. I did the 12 TB mission to get 30 points, that 9 run inning above my pay grade LOL. I sold 5 of my spot light players and bought Schwarber to finish off the Pipeline Past Collection.

Just went 5-1 in weekend classic, pulled a few base diamonds that sell for 3k in ballin packs and my 85 plus pack was another low end 86 Kwan. Also got a May spotlight pack and pulled Coulombe which was nice for my bullpen. I played a Cards Prospect Tre Richardson for my 4th win of the classic, I was up 5-0, he then went up 6-5, and then I ended up walking him off in the bottom of the 9th. He played really well, fun game even if I would have lost. Speaking of that loss, I got dumped on by some goon, was wild how good he was. LOL

As for future legend and flashback collection, as it stands right now I have 19 vouchers and if Rolen is one, that's 20. Few more programs this coming week, so I'm wondering how many we will need for the next collection. Needed 18 of 19 last time. We thinking 20 of 21, or even 21 of 22?
