I think there is going to be a pretty big market crash this weekend. Look at all the rewards for the Weekend Classic, not only regular packs, but some of the higher level rewards are guaranteed diamond live series cards. And after the first 6 games, every RS win gets either a Ballin pack or standard one depending on your division.

I was hoping I'd get clemens in time but I won't. I went 1-1 in ranked today so I'm either 8-2 or 9-2...i think I'll be in silver 1 pool unless I can play and win a few Thursday and Friday

PSA: If you get a rain delay during a moment on this new Diamond Quest map (the gimmick seems to be all rain games) - DO NOT choose to warm up a fresh arm. For moments there are no pitchers in the bullpen and it will crash the game. In DQ this leads to a couple penalties - a loss of percentage points towards the chance of getting the featured rewards at stadium challenges, and a passive "debuff" card of some sort, same as if you'd rolled a 1.

That needs a patch - rain delays shouldn't be happening in the mode in the first place. Just a heads up for until it does get fixed, though.

Although I haven't had it happen yet in a stadium challenge or zonesweeper game, I'd guess the crash doesn't happen there since your whole pen and bench are available.

I also think the old "signature" packs will either be in the program or be more easily accessible so Threads cards etc. should go down. PLUS, let's see what old multiplayer rewards make it back into the program for the refresh.

The only thing I assume won't be in the next month of content will be the First Inning Bosses.

I do want to remind people now that there is going to be new collections at the end of April. This means a ton of Flashback/Legend cards will likely skyrocket in price, especially if there aren't a lot of cards in that series (Postseason, Last Ride, etc.)

SO if you do want to take a risk and maybe make major Stubbage later in the month, you could start investing there relatively soon.

That is what I have been thinking after looking at those rewards. Plus, I have enough stubs to buy him back already if I wanted, even if he only drops 10-20k. I was just needing a 2nd opinion haha.

I used Jobe and he gave up 4 in the first then pitched two scoreless then his energy was poop so I had to take him out. Idk if he sucks or not because I shut my opponent out the rest of the game and win 5-4

Burnes had a good start of 6 1/3...he may be the only pitcher I feel confident in. Also seems like this year you can throw cutters inside off the plate to lefties and they don't hit a no doubt Homerun anyway

Locked in santander so im at like 250k stubs, not sure to improve the team or wait on a crash. Not sure if there are tons of ways to upgrade my team right now with the cards available on the market that I don't already have.

Clay Buchholz and Noah Schultz I'm seeing more and more if you want to "test" a couple "meta" guys.

Tomorrow is a CHONKY day of content, probably a good indicator of how things will look moving forward as well for the totality of the game, so a pretty big day tomorrow.

Diamond quest I did today for Schultz and Shaw and did most of the map the sweeper and the stadium game on all star... I got both cards and all together netted me about 12k for 40 mins. I could've played the other stadium and prob should have before cashing out but I had to go to bed. Likely would've gotten me closer to 20 in one hour. I may just run diamond quest all day Saturday to try to boost the stub count for a potential market drop

Just out of curiosity, when you guys are playing online when do you swing? Literally when do you press your swing button? I’m so late on everything which I’m pretty sure is just poor muscle memory because short of having a monitor everything else I have is pretty optimal for lag. In my mind it almost feels like o need to press swing at the exact same time I’m also moving the pci. But being that early leads me to chasing almost everything because otherwise there’s no way I’m catching a fastball. It’s only tip I can never find. The actual timing of the swing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated haha.

What a dud of a 2nd inning program IMO.

Spotlight 2 program done. Conquest done. 2 of the 3 player programs done, 15 points done already for the 3rd player. Waiting to get that 3rd pack for JD.

1-0 in weekend classic, only qualified for the 400-499 Bronze II. Won 7-0 against a 550 opponent, 6-0 on the year. All downhill from here!

With the double pxp, started up on TA again division wise. 2 full 9 inning games should get you 8k in PXP and 45k towards the program. Finished the Phillies 8k and got a 5 pack and a headliner. Not sure how many teams I'll do, but I need packs and pack luck dang it..

Update. Currently 4-0 in Weekend Classic.

But wow, what a disaster this has been overall for people. Guys tanking higher ratings to play lower rated guys for easier games yet still get their Goat rewards etc.

SDS butchered this ain’t no way around it. Hopefully for the next one they get things straightened out!

Huh? How would you tank your ranking but still get the top rewards? You play in the tier of your highest rank not where you finished the season.

Seems like you lock in the reward tier, but play based on your current ranking, so people at higher levels dropped down for easier games to get better rewards.

Like ravens said above, you lock your rewards in at the highest tier you made, but then play games from your current rating.

Guys made Goat Tier (1,000), then tanked ratings to play guys in the 700 and 800's.

Really is embarrassing honestly..
