SAVING SETTINGS

How exactly do you go about saving your gameplay tuning settings? Is it saved under your profile or what?? Are they auto-saved? Auto-loaded??

You can't save them. Saving your profile will save gameplay settings, such as playing allstar level or what fielding view you use or whatever... but audio options and gameplay tuning options can't be saved. It is quite possibly the most ridiculous exclusion from a video game ever.

Are you serious They did this AGAIN?, i remember this in last years game. I did fix it by STARTING a franchise and then setting everything there and saving, then once i started the franchise i would back out to the main menu and all the settings now would be for exhibition play.

I don't know if you can start a franchise to save or not this year...

This is the best baseball game I've ever played, but not being able to save your settings is horrible... just plain horrible.

That seems to be the way, just setup everything on franchise and then back out to exhibition and it should be the same as you settings on franchise.

so if I save that franchise, do I have to load it and back out everytime I turn the game on to play an exibition game?

LOL still haven't played it. Stuck at work 'til 8:30. But the game should be very similar to last year in a majority of the questions being asked.

Wow, it's a little unbelievable that there is no way to save a settings file. At least there is some sort of a workaround; thanks JOEdellis for sharing that shortcut.

I think you have to restart your franchise... I started one.. then got annoyed with the music... had to save then go out to options turn of the tracks... yet when I continues my season the changes didnt take affect in the franchise.. STUPID

Oh i dont think that actually takes effect, what i said was for basically those who want to save their sliders and options. Music is THAT annoying?, just put it all the way down that should stay saved once you make a profile in the main menu.
