    MLB Pitching Question?

This is my first year playing MLB07 The show. My question is when pitching where is the sweet spot on the meter power bar? Is there some kind of line or color change like in MVP Baseball 2005?

Yes, there is a sweet spot. But unlike MVP, it is just a mere sliver. If you have confidence turned on, it will grow larger if you do well and disappear if you struggle. You don't neccesarily have to hit the sweet spot, though. The general mechanic is to try to get close as possible. If you miss, you won't contsantly be throwing meatballs like in MVP. It will result in a good mix of balls and strikes, and thus, a good mix of strikeouts and walks and pretty good pitch counts.

On a similiar note, when you warm guys up in the bullpen, can you actually see them warming up?

through the games ive played in 07 so far, it isnt always best to try to go to the bar, sometimes if the pitcher is having TOO much movent or break or whatever to his pitches or maybe is just tooo pumped up... sometimes ive had to try to hit hte meter in the middle of the blue before it to hit my spots... sometimes during an at bat i have to do both with diff pitches...i do have pitcher confidence off so i have no idea but i like it... this way you cant just say... ok full power or whatever it keeps you on your toes

Yes. You can see YOUR guys warming up. Just hit the L2? or L1? button(I think it's L2) that brings up your defense....move right or left and it will shift to bullpen. From there you can see your guys.

              It is the L2 button.

Is it like 2k where, for instance, at Wrigley guys will be warming up along each of the foul lines? Can you actually see the guys warming up when say a foul ball is hit? Thanks.

no. the ps3 version will have all that extra stuff. if they put that in the ps2 version, the game would be unplayable.
On an off-topic note- I was glad to see the realtime scoreboards in the game

Yeah, I'm hoping they have that in the PS3 version. Do the realtime scoreboards include out of town scores?
