Why are my lineups getting screwed up when i place a player on the DL?

I searched for this and didnt find anything. When i put a guy on the DL all my lineups get screwed up, AA, AAA, and MLB. Anyone know how to fix this? thanks

Shoot, this happened last year. What I had to do in last years game is set the injuries to CPU and let the AI do them for you. I just picked this years title up today, I haven't gotten to do much seeing I've spent the last 2 hours trying to get online and still can't.

last year I don't think it happened all the time, just sparingly. It was enough for me to move it to cpu though. If a guy is injured for 13-14 days though, it won't put him on the DL for 15 days though, he'll ride the bench. But then again, that was last year. Are you able to get online today?

Gee wizz I hope that they fix some of the s@#$ on the PS3. Alot of people of purchasing the the title next week. It is great playing brand of video game baseball but problems are starting to add up. Not complaining just stating facts. I will have both copies as this Wednesday....

last year I don't think it happened all the time, just sparingly. It was enough for me to move it to cpu though. If a guy is injured for 13-14 days though, it won't put him on the DL for 15 days though, he'll ride the bench. But then again, that was last year. Are you able to get online today?

What exactly do you move to the CPU? Whenever a player gets hurt I just place him on the bench. If he's hurt for say a 1-2 months I just send him down to AAA and let the farm club deal with him.

In the Season setup or Franchise setup options, there should be an injury management option.

i went into gameplay and changed injuries from manual to CPU. I simulated a couple games until someone got hurt and the CPU automatically placed him on the DL, BUT my lineups still got screwed up! Thats a good idea who ever said just send him down and put him on the bench, i might do that. I like injuries casue i like to get some of my minor league guys a shot.

ya you can change them back to the way you had them, but dang i dont want to have to change my lineups everytime a guys goes on the DL, thats 12 lineups. The lineup the CPU changes is crazy too, they have power hitter hitting 8th and slow guys leading off, its screwed up, lol.

Is this happening when you get a player injured during simming?....and you hit the send to DL option when it prompts you that so and so is injured for 60 days do you want to ...?
The CPU automatically adjusts the lineups in that situation.
You have to leave him on the squad....when it prompts you...then manually go to the roster screen and DL him. Your lineups shouldn't get changed then.
When you auto DL...the CPU has no choice but to re-arrange things. It definitely would have been better if SCEA just programmed the CPU to put a player into the slot vacated by DL'ing someone though...instead of moving EVERYTHING around

why go thru the trouble when it happens that much? Even if a minor league player gets hurt, putting him on the DL screws up your major league lineup.

I think like one of the posters said, don't let the CPU auto DL him. Instead, manually DL him yourself. I bet this fixes the problem completely.

no i manully DLed them and it still happens. I tried DLing every way i could and it always messes up the lineups.
