Poor Joe...
Joe Sambito spent 8 seasons with the Astros putting together a nice career in the pen....
In 1985 he joined the Mets.....They go on to win NINETY EIGHT games that year and STILL finish second to the awesome Cardinals(yep...back then they were in the EAST) who won 101 games....
In 1986 Sambito winds up on none other than the Boston Red Sox...and you know the rest

Back in the day Ricky was the most dangerous player in baseball. He would get a lead off walk. Steal 2nd and 3rd and score on a fielders choice. You could bank on that!! Got to the love the shoutout for Chris S.
