My wife hates him.
I used to be a bouncer in a club in Manhattan. She was a waitress there. (before we were even seeing each other! Yikes!)
The owner had a party at the club and it was all baseball guys. Hernandez was there with some other Mets.
Our(now...hers then) nephew was a big Met fan..so she asked him for his autograph for him.(quietly...later in the night when things were "calmed down")..he took the paper signed it and handed it back. She looked at it and it said..."Babe Ruth".
She gave it back and asked him again(after some choice words from my wife...if you think I'M sarcastic ...man! oh man! )...this time he handed it back and it said "John Hancock".
I thought it was funny...she didn't and ripped into him(she's tough...I love that about her!)...He apologized...got another piece of paper and really signed it this time.
She took it....put in down her pants in the back made a wiping motion and threw it on the floor.
The whole place was howling!....and a couple of them started diving for the paper(jokingly!....Backman..Dykstra...Darren Daulton)
I thought it was hysterical.....Hernandez got bent out of shape and spent the rest of the night trying to get her to take the autograph...
She wouldn't.
