First thing I will do is go to the rosters and check out my Yanks. Make sure they have the correct equipment and jersey numbers are correct (they always get a few wrong), then check the batting stances and pitching motions. I really, really, really hope they got Jeter, Tex, and A-Rod's stances done right. And I'm hoping for good motions for Sabathia, Burnett, and Joba. They all had their own pitching motions in '08, but they we all wrong.

After that, I will play an exhibition game vs. the Mets at new Yankee Stadium. Sabathia vs. Santana!

I can't wait.

to jim/knight, how long does it take u to finish ur rosters? and do u guys do all the minor league teams? meaning do u guys have all the actual names for everybody and do u edit all minor league attributes and face/body/batting stance/pitching motion?

im interested in using ur rosters but i want to know how long cuz it takes u guys to finish. thanks in advance.

What Knight said. I have to add that we started a little bit early last year. The minor leagues were not set, too many guys in spring training, ML rosters not close, players we created got cut, etc., etc.. MK and I are really going to put our heads together, might even be seeing each other (business trip).

It will be interesting to see what SCEA has done with the rosters. Can we edit the devs this year???? For some reason I'm thinking not. I can tell you, the shuffling of the devs really slowed things down because we had to transfer these uneditable players from team to team to team trying to fill the ML/minors rosters.

I look for all that is wrong with the game and then report it in the bugs thread.

After that I look at the Giants ratings and certain players animation swings and pitches.

The first thing I always do is figure out which team is the most boring team in the league. I then make a bunch of created players for said team. These players are my buddies with myself being the best obviously. When I was younger I could easily fill out a 25 man roster. Now that I'm older I've whiddled my friends down to about 8. Which team will be the most boring this year? Two years ago my franchise was Pittsburgh. Last year I ran with KC. Who's the worst team this year? San Diego?

Well....it takes about two months. I can usually crank out 1 level of 1 team per day......If they added single A this year....it'll be a little longer obviously.
We do all the teams...all the players.

Damn. I used your rosters around July last year and re fell in love with the show. You guys do a great job but I definitely will be past the all star break in my chise in two months. How do you guys hold off that long before starting your franchises?

Actual names....extensive research for attributes.....actual faces.
Hopefully our batting stance/pitching motion man is in for this year.
Razr redoes the pitchers....speed of pitches....actual pitches and break of pitches...hopefully he's in this year also

as for the first thing, im gonna load all my music into the game including the batter walkups for my dodgers. then im gonna jump into a game.

if i finish year 2 in my franchise ill will play my World Series opponent in Dodger Stadium. if i dont finish, then ill play the Detriot Tigers. they are the team i beat in the World Series in my first year. man that was so fun.

Play a game and check the boxscore. I am a stat guy and I hope SCEA expanded the boxscore.

One thing I would like to see is pitch counts for each pitcher in the boxscore.

Last year the demo was released Feb. 14. So I would guess somewhere around there for '09 as well.....

check out all the uniforms in the game. home and away for each team.

then probable play 2 hours in a offline franchise mode with probably the dodgers or A's

then go online and play a game.
then check out the online franchise mode settings and either make a online franchise league or join one.
