are you kidding me?!....these screenshots look great! It looks like the colors and lighting are much better....zambrano looks great...it looks like they have different follow-through swings if you look at zambrano's swing....

I come in here to read more opinions on the screenshots and I read:

* one guy telling people to keep their opinions to themselves basically

* one guy wanting to slap people and knock zits off their faces

* And two guys having a pissing contest about the Yankees

That's why they are screenshots. The worst thing for anyone to do is form a judgement based on screenshots. It looks no different than last year, and the game looked and moved wonderfully last year. Best looking sports game? Not even close. But worthy of every peney? You betcha. This game has no competition. So let's relax.

The screens look good.. I just hope the lighting is improved for night games. Last year they looked so flat when compared to day games. So far the night lighting looks about the same as last year, but it's hard to tell from screens and it is pretty early.

I thought MLB 08 was the best looking sports-game. It's going to look even better this year with the new lighting.

you're right though...I thought for a moment that I stumbled into the Madden forums...lol.

Back on topic, the positive of these screenshots is that the cloth lools much more like it's own "entity" now, so to speak. I thought overall they looked good. Didn't pay the backround to much attention because most screenshots are meant to capture the image in the foreground.

As for the Cubs unis...hopefully that's early and they got em right. I do believe many Cubbies were in here last year with their suggestions. We'll see.

I think they look awesome! The play at the plate it looks like the batters box has been worn down. Even if they don't do the baselines just the box that will be a huge upgrade.

Being a Cub's fan I can say Zambrano's fallow through looks almost exact.

I will say that I hope they fix the away helmets. I can deal with the bigger logo but I don't want to have to wear the old helmets again just to have the red bill. But it's early and I have the utmost faith in SCEA!!
