I think that's just the paint. The padding has been shown to be blue in every concept pic. If it stays that color...yuk.

No, its for online play.

Say your friend is playing someone online...Well you can watch the base pathes and everything in 2d...But you can also listen to the commentary from his game.

These little kids that come on here and say the logo on the Cubs leg is to big and already picking apart the graphics are you Fing kidding me THESE ARE SCREEN SHOTS PEOPLE. So what if the Cubs logo on the legs is alittle big, I can give a crap. I want video of gameplay and if it looks bad or plays bad then you can bash it. But don't bash the game over 8 screen shots give me a break.

The screens look good.. I just hope the lighting is improved for night games. Last year they looked so flat when compared to day games. So far the night lighting looks about the same as last year, but it's hard to tell from screens and it is pretty early.

I made note of this last year and got hammered for it. The colors don't pop nearly enough in night games. I completely agree.

I did not take it as bashing. I think he made a valid observation. There are some games on the ps3 where the textures are so real it is mind blowing. Then sometimes you see things and you scratch your head and ask how come? Maybe it is done to help with frame rate.

I'm calling it like I see it. The PS3 is terrible @ producing textures in their games. I never said anything against the SCEA Team as I believe they are the best developers in the Baseball Sports Genre. It's the system I was criticizing.

Yes many people can look past such things especially when game play is great. Perfect example. Call of Duty 4. 1 of the Best Shooters ever IMO, but the textures looked horrible. This is not a knock on Infinity Ward again it's a knock on the hardware

I don't know what was so valid about his point you can't make an assumption on 13 screen shots I mean come on. MLB 08 had great graphics and people are already bashing 09. Read all of the other posts on this thread.

Ok fine but this is a baseball forum for MLB 09, bash the hardware in the hardware forum.. But I do agree with you on some games.

Game looks fine.

Remember guys, the 08 screenies didnt do the game justice in any way shape or form.

We'll be drooling when we're playing in HD, rest assured.
