Re: Producer Blog: RTTS FE/General
In case you missed it, they are trying to finalize the game, get it ready for shipping, plus they are getting ready for the Community Day Event at the end of the week.
And in regards to your original post, you seem to have trouble distinguishing the difference between sucking up and being respectful.

I'm glad they added an option to skip some of your teammates at-bat, all those foul balls got tired after a while.
I'm pretty disappointed there was no mention of PS3 Eye though.

Re: MLB 09 The Show Blog: Road To The Show Enhancements
Great stuff!
Getting drafted is fantastic. The perfect addition to RTTS.
Adding custom music to walkups and entering from the pen.
Sounds like I need someone to start doing audio clips of the PA announcers to announce Old Time players to the plate.
Can you say?....in your best Bob Shepard voice...."Now batting...number FORty FIve....Danny TARTabull......number FORty FIve...."
AWESOME!

Re: MLB 09 The Show Blog: Road To The Show Enhancements
Looks like lots of nice enhancements. I wonder if you will also be able to change the real MLB players appearance throughout the season (like last year when Giambi grew the stache and then re-dyed it every few weeks). The audio editing sounds great, it's going to be awesome to program Enter Sandman for when Mariano comes in from the Pen!
As for the dude complaining about no screen shots, if you're patient they will come. We still have the entire month of February before the game comes out. I'm sure we'll be getting a steady flow of info & media in the next few weeks, plus the OS community guys will fill us in on tons of details in a few days after their visit to SCEA."There are only two seasons—winter and baseball." - Bill VeeckComment

Re: Producer Blog: RTTS FE/General
I know i will get bashed for this but it would of been nice if we could of got some info on stuff most people will be using. I know some use RTTS but everybody uses franchise. We can't get a pic of the day but we can get this? Come on now. You play game after game on Legend mode but can't take one pic for a pic of the day? Remember we are the ones making it so you guys have a job since we buy the game. Just frustrating when we can't get one pic or a video or something.
Let the bashing begin. Just being honest and not a suck up like most. Still buying the game because it's a great game just wish could get some more updates like pics and vids.Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Blog: Road To The Show Enhancements
I don't get the complaint, there were like 6 or 7 screenshots in that one blog! I think the screenshots they've shown are plenty to tell us how the game is going to look, and unlike other compaines, they don't doctor their screenshots so what you see is what you get. I respect that honesty in a company.
I was already sold on the new lighting/eye black/etc...now to see how much they added to RTTS, well that just makes waiting another month even harder.Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Blog: Road To The Show Enhancements
Only thing I'm curious about is the goals that weren't really that relevant to your player that, if weren't achieved, resulted in a demotion even though your stats were very good.
Closers, for example. I was continually told to raise my stamina and improve my fielding. There was maybe one or two periods where I was told to meet goals that were actually relevant to being a closer.Comment
