Sony couldn't handle a NY guy? Their bark is worse than their bite as the old saying goes...

I had THREE New York guys and not ONE of them had ever heard the expression "dude" before. Amazing.

I've always said that SCEA's customer service kicked *** (hell, I remember noting sometime in mid-February last year that Alex Rios' stance was wrong and they fixed it about 20 minutes after I posted it...which is the basis for Kolbe's sig lol), well now I can say that OS' does too! Thanks for all the info.

A couple questions that you can hopefully answer

        1) How much new commentary was added this year? Did you hear more city-specific phrases?

        2) You noted that the stadium was more "dressed up" for the playoffs. Was there any of that fan promotion stuff (like the towel waving)?

        3) Did you see any elite players going on waivers during a dynasty season?
        Blue Jays, Blackhawks, Auburn

            1. Per Kolbe, a lot. We had five monitors going at once, so there were five different audios we were listening to at once, hard to concentrate on specifics.

            2. I think Knight checked that.

            3. Knight, later.

He had a long typed list and even some of my answers are on his list. He'll chime in late tonight, I'm sure. He's on a three week vacation.

Sometimes it was hard to concentrate. I'd call Pared over to look at a replay of something new, Michael would chime in with something he just saw, etc., etc. We were jumping all over the place at times. We'd also be constantly peeking at other monitors to see what was going on.

Thank you Chris. I figure it was a Sony. I hope they have the retire numbers showing this year at SBC park. If not that is cool too.

****, that's what I forgot to ask about Rogers Centre. I doubt anyone saw, but did they have the level of excellence?

Pretty much everything I wanted to know about '09 has been covered and discussed, and half the guys that attended haven't even posted in depth yet! Anything they add will be icing on the cake. The only thing that's still a big question mark about The Show are the batting stances and motions. Looks like we'll have to wait until we get the game for the answers to that one.

Everything else is looking good. Ridiculously good. This may end up being my favorite game of all time! Just one short month!!!

We knew then that this was a serious business for these guys. We were all very humble, but once we got into it and they put a muzzle on Pared so he woudn't bite, everything loosened up. JUST KIDDING Pared!

Several devs told us how important it was to have a bunch of serious gamers at OS (all you guys) that they could look to for feedback. Again, when you have a game developer looking over your shoulder when you're playing you know they are serious about their product.

Wow I agree Rob, just wait to Knight comes with all his notes. He was a very good secretary. Hey knight you can always fall back on that if the Fire thing doesn't work out.

Box Scores, have they been fully done to real life specs? meaning do they include,

                                weather
                                ump names
                                time of game
                                left on base
pitches-balls-strikes break down for each pitcher used in game

well with out going into full on detail cause i think we all know what all the details that are in a real life box score ... dont make me copy and paste a full one to give you all the details lol
