Lighting will not disappoint. The detail is amazing and brings out the textures in the different surfaces.

As for Jeter's stance, I'm sure it got touched up. I'm sure a lot of them did. The only question now is if they did a good job with them or not.

Russell said he has something cooked up for ericjwn this week. Hopefully Eric gets a chance to see some of the new animations.

They did a fantastic job with monument park. Looks real sharp!!

Yeah...by several weeks right? I think it might have been on PastaPadre that I read it though.

The demo would probably be pretty useless for you guys though...lol. Plus, I'm sure there will still end up being "I didn't see X and you said it was in!" kind of comments...lol. Oh well

It's truly a sight to behold. You see it immediately; We didn't need a side by side comparison with '08 to tell.

Another few gameplay notes:

-I really feel there needs to be more errors. There was a lot more variety to the fielding animations and hits were going off of fielder's gloves, bodies, etc. but I don't recall seeing any botches being recorded as errors once again. I did not touch the sliders.

-The new outfielder paths are just incredible! The play out for not just the CPU but the user as well. They seem to "trigger" accordingly.

-Pickoffs are certainly not as controllable as I would like. I pretty much feel you press the pick-off button, hold your breath and hope the proper animation plays out. I had a good discussion on ways to make this better and really hope they get implemented for '10.

-Side note on the demo: I'm sure you'll see the updated stances for whatever they use as a demo.

Ok, back to the Super Bowl.

Yeah I like errors, but not when the game is on the line. Maybe not having too many errors is a good thing.

It is streaky, there were some games there were 3 and some where there were none. Jury is still as far as I am concerned on whether there is an issue or not. It is nice to see different animations though!

Ha, Russell dropped a nasty curve on me with someone from the Rays and Beltran struck out looking. Pretty realistic, I'd say.

Yeah I can see that too. You did a great job describing that. Have you ever thought about becoming a writer? You have such a good way of bringing things to life.
