They would like the demo out "early" February.
They asked us to tell you guys(I did!)
BUT they also asked us to tell you that it is a MUCH earlier build than the one we were playing(again, I did!)

I guess they sent the demo version to whoever they need to for an approval and then it gets it's release.

My problem comes from stances like A-Rod, where everything about the stance is 100% off in every way. Jeter, Derek Lee, Sabathia, Pettitte, Halladay, Soriano, Rowand, Papelbon, Varitek, Damon, Santana, Joba, David Wright, and these are just off the top of my head. There are so many in '08 and prior games that were just laughably bad.

As long as they are close I'm happy. The problem is they haven't been close in this series. I'm still holding out hope for this year.

I think this goes to the point that some peeps will never be satisfied...for example...i will admit Pettite and Sabathia were off, but Wright, Soriano, Joba, Jeter, Lee, Varitek and Santana were not "laughable" they were close enough that I could tell who they were...were they exact...no...but pretty close

Clearly there is something big that you guys are holding back that makes this game even better. So here are my questions...they are yes or no. Not answering or saying you cant say...will be just as telling

1. Is there anything involving reading the ball rotation ala MVP color code system

2. Could ANY of the the new innovations you arent allowed to discuss be viewed as a "gimmick" by any

3. Has the pitcher/batter battles been modified in a way that would be noticeable by the non-hardcore gamer.

4. Does any of the things that you are holding back significantly change the game or are they just more "little things"

5. Is this whole Community Preview thing a scam and arent Jim, Knight, Pared and Nem just really false names for SCEA devs Kolbe, Chris, Brian and Russell? Sorry...for this I forgot to put the universal symbol of kidding:wink:. I was really seeking answers to the other questions.

6. On a scale of 1-10 10 being the highest. Please rate the significance of the things that we dont know about this game.

Yes, they were laughable. How was Joba not laughable? Everything about it was wrong. Do you know why? Because it wasn't even his motion! It was Joe Blanton's. Go and check it out, him and Blanton have the same exact motion, they just re-named it to Joba for some reason. Nothing in that motion, other than throwing with the right hand, is accurate for Joba.

Santana was just as bad.

I agree, Pujols' stance was fine. Of course, I don't obsess over stances as much as others, but I do ask for them to be close to the real thing.

all i'm really interested in the demo for is the "pitcher batter confrontation", hopefully it will be close to what you guys were seeing in SD.

Maybe for people who play him once every 50 games. But as someone who plays as the Cardinals every game, it continues to annoy me.

The '08 stance is more reflective of his older stances ('05), but I personally don't like how it looks. Especially if you view it from the outfield. Again, my opinion.

Actually '06 The Show had Albert's stance pretty much spot on. In the end, it's all personal opinion.

Even if the demo is a version created 2 months before the ones y'all played I'm still excited about it...I'm curious if they gave you all any special gifts "under the table"

i completely agree...he is on every team i play with...i mean its alright but yes it could get better..and being a big fan i notice every little thing wrong bout his stance...
