Excellent information. This is probably the best preview stuff I've seen from a game ever. Allowing hardcore players like you guys to come in, play, critique, and question them is truly amazing of the SCEA team. I think this type of interaction will only benefit all of us gamers.

I'm not a big jersey guy at all, but it's a bummer that they have to follow a style guide set forth by the MLB. And even they don't include every jersey or don't have the correct information!

Care to give an example of BSG's goofiness standing out? Do you mean like exaggerating fast motions for a certain player?(Way he moves his feet,etc..)

Seriously though, you see it, for example, when Kevin Youkilis comes to the plate. There are some others but he stuck out as completely obvious. He just seems a little too exaggerated when he does his shoulder shrugs and foot movements. Slightly too quick... you'll see when the game releases.

Again, they are limited but still there.

But anyway, thanks for the response. I'll have to see it for myself(duh) but if he gets the essence of Youk's stance down(meaning the way he holds the bat, unlike anyone else in baseball) then I'll be more than happy with slight exaggerations.

For my fellow Yankee fans: Girardi is in with the proper number, he looks good. He is always yelling at the players,lol. In one of the games where I was getting killed, I swung at a first pitch and popped up and Girardi was giving Damon mouth. Matt and Dave were commenting on how Damon should have taken some pitches being down and Girardi was getting his point across! LOL

I've got to say that my favorite presentation moment yesterday was seeing a pinch hitter walk up OUT of the dugout, on the stairs, with his batting helmet in his hand.

what about pithcing deliveries? anything new worth mention?

Lots of guys have new motions. They look immensely better than what we've had.

Personally I still feel like the pitchers don't seem to put enough "oomph" when they throw a pitch. Hope that makes sense.

But leg kicks, glove positions... a good amount of them look very good.

I'll add my favorite presentation moment:

Again, the replay camera angles. Close ups on the face of the pitcher right before a pitch.... incredible.

Knight got destroyed by the Yanks on Legend. I think we even may have a pic of him tapping out and even crying!

Then maybe one of his Metropolitians losing in Citi field to Jims Nationals

Nem - are players still static in the dugout or are they reacting to the play on the field? Also, do they have the correct players in the dugout?

IE. Last year Sabathia would be on the mound and they would cut to Wedge and Sabathia was sitting right next to him!

I have to pay attention to this more and check. I was so fixated on strategy and what my next move was going to be I did not focus on it.

Because of the new features we cannot comment on some things right now.
