My suggestion would be wait to see in person. Maybe it is darker in the game. Screen shots are sometimes different than actaul game.

Hmmmm... I wasn't as elaborate on my post as I should have been. mlblover that wasn't directed to you at all, I think it's great that you want everything to be as realistic as possible colors, walls, etc.. That wasn't what I meant and I really should reword my post (but I'm too lazy) It was directed to couple of people who overly criticize this game and made a couple BS remarks about the developers of this fine game. (Not naming any names) I don't want to start a flame war. Sorry for the confusion:wink: Oh and I quoted the wrong post too ha time to go to bed!!

Have you been Oakland, because those wall are pretty thrash. It is a really bad and not taken care of ball park. Especially after RAIDERS GAMES. I wouldn't be surprise if they were lighter green.

i lived in Cailifornia for 26 years and went to one game every year for the last 6 years i lived there and four more earlier from 88-93. so yes ive been there several times and the walls are a deep color... if you want to see what the color is click on my Asfan4evers page and the background color of that page is the official color of the As hex color code....

No kidding this game is a masterpiece! You guys at SCEA are so talented. These photos blow me away...

I couldn't imagine what Ebbets or The Polo Grounds would look like with your incredible talent ( a little lobbing doesn't hurt).

These modern parks are indescribable. SCEA has awoken the sleeping art giant!

Well, when I was there last year it looked pretty faded. But oh well, maybe they will make it more green.

DUDE go plug in 08 go to play a game in oakland... when you pitch with center field camera you WILL see the same discolored faded look.... it isnt lighting it is the color of the walls... hello just go look it is the same faded discolored look i know I PLAY ALL GAMES AS THE A's!!

mlblover is completly right on this...
the color is off, its no game breaker by no means but it would be very nice if SCEA could fix that before shipping the game... its been wrong for quite sometime now, would be nice to finally get it right.

This game is just beautiful and that's just what it is. I agree though, to some of the naysayer's and obsessive nitpicker's STFU and post that in the "2010 Wishlist" Amazing job SCEA!!! and thank you for the pics guys!!!:wink:

Actually, I meant you guys.

What I'm saying is that this game has its faults, like all of them. A lot of you have either turned a blind eye to this game or have fallen so loyal to the developers (which is fine and well-deserved for their communative efforts, BTW) that it seems it's like saying an insult about their first-born child.

The only reason I would ever nitpick, though, is because they read these threads, so just like you said, it becomes an automatic suggestion for 2010. At least that way it's in the back of their mind before production, so we're not too late on wishing for anything.

But these screenshots are beyond amazing! The detail is just so... epic. Believe me when I say that there is no bigger fan of progressive lighting on this message board than me; if you were around a few years ago and read some of my wish list posts, you'd know what I was talking about. I'm glad that they put it in.

Now the only things that are missing are the teases; a new fielding camera (like the broadcast one), new player models, and uhh... well, that's all I need to win me over with this series for quite some time. Kudos, SCEA!

I mean in terms of the baseball, to the left of the fielder. Is it going toward him, did he toss it? Just looks like it's falling out of the sky lol.

Looks like the player was trying to throw the ball to first to complete the double play, but lost the ball.

I have to go change my pants. Because I just messed them after I saw the wall at Wrigley witout ivy! That's freaking awesome! I'm perfectly happy with there being no ivy and then all of a sudden at one point during the season the wall is full with ivy. But if it actually grows progressively as the season goes on...oh, man, that would be awesome.

And the right field wall has the fence where fans can stand outside! Sweet! The only negative I saw was that instead of the Under Armor logo on the green doors in the outfield (which I don't even know will be there again this year, and I understand SCEA would have to get the rights by Under Armor) are replcaced with the Cubs sleve logo in all white. I'd rather the door just be green.

I'm pretty sure Fukudome is trying to ninja sweep the second baseman, who is simply trying to defend himself. This is the prelude to a huge team kung-fu match.

Cool, they updated the foul poles in Citi Field from Yellow (in the old trailer) to Orange.

The biggest difference I see is the wall color, which seems to be black (unless this changes).

I took that shot. It's the baseball falling out of the second basemans hand as he is about to throw to first.
