I'm not 100% sure, but the Indians always wore their home vest jerseys during day games or on Sundays (maybe Saturdays as well). It looked like they kept that going last year when they replaced those uniforms with the current throwback style one that isn't really a throwback. As far as on the road goes, it has always seemed kind of random to me between the gray and blue. The started wearing the blue jerseys at home sometimes last year as well and I hope I'll be able to wear those this year at home also. They seem to keep wearing the same if they are winning as well.

If you wanna be really accurate on the A's, they ALWAYS wear the black alternate's whenever Justin Duscherer pitches. I think Dallas Braden chooses them sometimes also. And the throwback uni's are only done on sundays, probably 3-4 times a year.

that is accurate my fellow A's fan!
i noticed dusch wear the black tops quite often, but didnt know it was aways, and now looking at his pictures on gettyimages, ure completly right...
dallas will go on the random list though i think..

Thanks for all this info. However, for the Braves I'm 90% sure that they only wear the blue uniforms on weekend away games.

I do know that June 4 the Washington Nationals will have what's known as "Green Day" and they will be wearing green hats. i doubt that is in the game though.

Hey brunnoce, for the Phils, they wear their alternates during every home day game, not just some. Small adjustment but for the sake of accuracy...

Alternates: All home day games and all home Sunday games
Throwbacks: I don't believe they wear any throwbacks

The Pirates don't even wear Black anymore. There is a Red Alt they have had for a few seasons now.

A little clarification on the Brewers... they wear their pinstriped Home Alternates on the Friday home games. "Throwbacks" makes it sound like the Golden Era throwbacks. I believe the '82-era jersey that they wear is actually listed as a home alternate. I don't know if you want to rephrase that.

They do have other throwbacks. The Golden Era ones, a.k.a. the Negro League throwbacks, they wear once a year. I think it's in July this year; I could look up the exact date, but I doubt anyone would adhere to it.

The Pirates don't even wear Black anymore. There is a Red Alt they have had for a few seasons now.

Wrong... they dropped the red alternate for this year and got a new black alternate, along with some sleeved primary jerseys.

black is the second alternate this year (with the first being the sleevless white top). They dropped the red jerseys.
