read that great thread about lag issues with samsung lcd tv's

I was never a believer until I came across that site and noticed it when playing on line shooters and the show 08

the pitching was twice as hard because the slight delay from the lag made pitching on the mark real hard....

also shooters like cod and others have the lag that makes it hard to snipe or even shoot others

is all there and i have that issue on my 2 samsung lcd tvs...the 46a650 and 46a550

along with my panny plasma....

wow, all I can say is that the framerate is awful. It feels like when you force-upconverted '08 to 1080p. Horrendus pitch and swing choppiness, and on the animations. I really hope this isnt the final build. It feels like it needs about 3 more months of development. Very dissapointed

if you read the posts made by jim and nem first of all the demo is an earlier build. the version they played was the most updated version and had no framerate issues whatesoever so the final product will be awesome

I luv the new pick-offs. I had a guy on and Kasmir's 1st move was just a normal leg lift and step to 1st jus to let me know he was watchin.One pitch later, i lead off again and he gave me his quick step throw and frooze me and picked me off, man what a game...

And I should be playing? My parents are over and my wife gave me dirty looks for playing and boring them.

If you're talking about the box scores...don't worry, I'll still post fun recaps...but with a screenshot you don't have to try and make the runs, hits, and errors line up.

I just tried it at 1080p and didn't have any issues with framerate. Only played one inning though. The screen didn't fit but I fixed that in the options.

The Samsung 650 apprently has issues with games but my 550 is fine.

My 360 and PS3 are both hooked to the same network and the PS3 downloads from PSN are slooooow as crap. 5 to 10x slower than downloading from LIVE. Not saying it's PSN though because I have no idea what is causing it. I do know it's not the connection. Everything is fine and I have a NAT2. Possible network card problem. (60gb system) If so that means $ to Sony to get it fixed.....

Anyways I've given up downloading/playing tonight. I got so irritated with the speed I canceled it. I restarted it a while ago and I'm about 1 hour in and am at 48%....I'll play it tomorrow....

Played a few games. I thought it was pretty good. Some nice new stuff in there. Yet to see any balls hit in the gap or over fielders heads. I am assuming the frame rate hiccups will be fixed.

The version we played was flawless as far as frame rate was concerned. I played one demo game and did not have any issues. I am pretty sensitive to frame rate considering I play online quite a bit and know how irritating it can be. We are playing 1/100th of a portion of a game, people are putting too much weight on it!
