Did you try renaming your HDMI2 to PC....it worked for humaca.

None of them worked for me. I tried turning the system off for awhile, renaming it, tried 1080p and 720p, always has chop. The chop is only during the pitcher batter confrontation, once the ball is hit, it smooths out again. Its very strange but it's very annoying.

I'm a little worried because it seems like it's only Samsung owners, while everyone else's is smooth. I'm starting to wonder now if this will carry over into the full game for Samsung owners.

Man i wish this would work for me. I already tried this and it didnt work. ARE you playing on 720p?

Yes, what I do notice, it really isnt a "frame-rate dip", but rather feels more like they (pitcher in wind-up when you are at bat) "vibrate" or don't have complete frames of animation.

I am sure all is fine come final, the community leaders would not steer us wrong.

Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. So it isn't just Samsung people then.

I cannot figure out why it's doing it on some peoples tv's and not others. Got to be something in common..

I have a Westinghouse, and it does it on mine.

I'm playing on a Westinghouse.
I'm not getting it...and I just checked...my PS3 is still set to 1080p!

One of the things that impressed me is I could tell solid contact from a blooper just by sound. I don't remember '08 doing that.

Got a HR with Utley on Legend, and I got Hamels to bunt to 1st successfully....lol right on the line..and head first diveeeeeeee...safe! Was awesome.

Just finished downloading...



Gorgeous game. I actually didnt read up on any new features/changes so its all a new to me. Progressing through the day to night is simply amazing. The one thing that I noticed as a little lag or screen tearing but other demos have seemed that way before so I wont worry over it.

I love the fielding motions now. No more stop, turn and throw from the outfield to hit the cutoff or to gun it home (which I nailed perfectly to stop a run from scoring)

I cant wait to play the full version, this is what a video game should be. Anyone have a time machine?

I get the same thing except I have a Sharp Aquos.

Add me to the list of guys that's getting a small frame rate dip right after you select the pitch and then throw it... I'm on a Sony CRT in 720p. I didn't have any issues like this with 08 as well.


As for the game it's self.
The lighting is awesome.
The way the outfielders pursue the ball is great!
The players faces are much higher detail.
The Stadiums look a touch better.
The animations are even more fluid than they were last year.

I'm really glad that San Diego didn't add in a bunch of "gimmick" features and just made what was already Great - Greater.

which football game is that?? Visual Concepts/Sega will not have the NFL license, next year.
