Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
I have confidence because debug kits show the FPS on screen, just like PC games you can type in commands to display the framerate, and monitor it.right but you cant say that you are sure that the final wont have any issues when the team that was out there and members of scea said that they dont see the frame rate issue...so how can you think it will not be there based on that...
because they said that the build they played had no issues?
they are sayign the same thign about the demo..
I dont see any issues....but i know some do
So I am sure during rigorous testing, they noticed no dips or anomalies in the final build, and more than likely are not in liberty to comment on said process between the demo and the final build. Thus why we just get the promise of no issues.
It is all we can go on for now. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt. This is not 2K and their framerate promises we are talking about. SCEA has yet to disapoint ot flat out mislead us.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

That is so weird you said that, I did the EXACT same thing. Except I bought 3 copies total, 1 for use, 1 for backup, 1 for collecting.

Back-up?
PS3 games are on blu-ray, they are diamond solid discs of doom, and would have to go through the gates of Mordor, before they have even so much as a blemish on them!

Just sayin'!Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
I just have this bad feeling this will be how it is in the game for some people. The reason is strictly because a lot of people aren't having the issue, which means it's TV side. The dev's don't even have the problem, so how are they going to know somethings wrong?
I hope I'm wrong of course.
Well, I've never had a problem yet with a PS3 game, but I used to have so many problems with XBox 360 games and hardware that I'm a little scared about the discs not working. I don't want to get my copy in only to have it not work. That would PISS ME OFF!Back-up?

lol
Plus I don't mind buying three, just to help support the game.
Even with my complaints about the framerate of the demo, I'm going to play the living hell out of the full game regardless of the framerate thing.
Hell I played Triple Play 99 when it came out for a full year, and that was one of the worst framerate baseball games of all time. I was just bummed with the demo because I'm so used to the Show being SUPER smooth.Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Demo Available, Post Impressions Here
I would be thoroughly shocked if that was the case. The game would have to intentionally go backwards from the point in time we played it. On another note, if you guys think the game is good now you have not seen anything yet. The demo is not as sharp when compared to the build we played.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Today i thought WTH i'll play on ROOKIE
