This is being posted in both the MLB 2k9 forum and the MLB 09: The Show forum.

The war is over. Period. I don't want to see any more game bashing either way. This will NOT turn into the next Madden/2k5 board war.

If I am told of fans of either game "invading" the other forum and bashing either game, action will be taken, including the banning of users from specific forums. As always, constructive criticism will be allowed.

May I ask what you consider game bashing?

Because when someone says the other game does something better that is not game bashing. We are just trying to show Sony what they need to improve.

At least I am anyway.

Mike, when you post in the Sony forums that 2k does something better, or post in the 2k forums that Sony does something better, it's an invite to a flame. Why not just post things in a wish list (without mentioning either competitor)????

What you do on a normal basis I have no issue with. Saying "I don't believe that the swing mechanics are correct in the backswing" is constructive.

Stating is 20 times in 5 different threads is trolling. Stating "2k sucks" is bashing. In general, if you are posting because you are angry, your best bet is to step away from the computer for 5 minutes, then come back.

Ok I can agree with that.

I will wait for the new wishlist to post all this stuff.

But I also do have to mention the other game so Sony sees what I am talking about.

They are very aware of the OTHER game, lol, so I think they will know where you are coming from without mention.

It's not about mentioning the other game. It's the method that posters do so.

Making the same post over, and over, and over is tiresome, and considered trolling around here. If 2k9 does something better, mention it in a thread where it applies, then let it go.

You can mention 2k9, I am sure the SCEA appreciate the little things as much as the next guy. Just don't pound it into the ground.

And don't come to this forum to bash 2k9.

blahblahblah, although I dont like nor do i promote these verbal wars, but there to be expected in all forums. but owell maybe this solution will work, but people never understand the difference between constructive criticism and nagging/bashing.
