Will Manny actually have the really long dreadlocks this year? they made him look a bit better last year (taking the helmet off after AB ,I was gushing he had the do rag on his head) Just curious - where do think he will end up?

If by better, you mean "douchier." Then yes, I agree. This game is so accurate, I wouldn't be surprised if Manny looks exactly like he does in real life, an uber douche.

I'm not doubting his hitting ability. I'm doubting his want to play the game. Manny doesn't play for a team, he plays for himself. He's terrible for baseball. Sure, he hits like a monster but his attitude is the worst.

AJ Pierzynski, has a better attitude towards the game than Manny. AJ wants to play as much as he can and not only that, he plays to win. Manny plays if he feels like it and that just pisses me off. I wouldn't like him on the White Sox. I'd like his bat, but that's it.

Anyways, back to the game. I'm sure they'll have the dreads in there, the game has about everything else.

I agree with you - he is as selfish and arrogant as they come, but it's a different game today and it's never going back to the way it was and should be. I would much rather have a guy like Pujols than Manny - however being a cub fan - at this point I'd sell out for a championship . .. . back to topic, last year they made him with like really short dreads and it looked a bit like Vlad's hair, I noticed the neck tattoo they put on Crawford (I think) and that tells me maybe they are trying to get as accurate as possible which is why I love this game.

manny has the best personality in baseball. all you people dont get it. to play baseball at the profesional level with all the pressure you NEED to be relaxed and care free. that is manny. he cares about the game and shows day in and day out that he loves the game but his carefree attitude is what helps him be the great player that he is. remember in cleveland when he got heat for sayin its just a game and wasnt the end of the world if the red sox lost. that was a care free relaxing approach and the whole team won because of that carefree relaxed approach to playing the game at such a high pressure time.

you people need to wake up and realize that manny is the best player in the big leagues and is not a bad person. id like to see half of you overweight losers try to play baseball at the high school level nevermind big league level!!!!!!!!!

Mannyblue - you are clearly younger and do not understand the basic principles of baseball - one of which is respect for the game and for the other players and people involved in the game. The way Manny left Boston was disgaceful and he has exhibited classless behaviour many times over. It is a privilege to play a kid's game and get paid what they do - his obvious lack of gratitude for this gift he has been given is beyond evident and therefore most people don't like him. Like I said in my earlier post - the game has gotten away from respect and no longer allows players to police themselves- other wise as Manny stood there staring at one of his bombs- he would be getting hit right in the mouth the next time up.

listen 187 you have no ideer how old i am. manny is a good person you just judge him by how he left boston but you have no ideer what his life was like in boston. maybe his family was threatened and he had to get out. maybe he had problems with the boston front office and they weren't treating him fairly. you dont know you cant just judge the whole thing based on your opinion of what you see on tv. tv is evil and is by no means a portal of true information that you can go by. you need to see beyond it and realize that manny is the best right handed hitter to ever play the game and he is a great person too. lighten up.
