This sucks even more. We're supposed to get a foot of snow here over the next day and a half, meaning that I won't be abe to go anywhere and will need to stay home without MLB The Show.
On the bright side, an unexpected package arrived today. Last week, I had bought an unopened copy of Rockband 2 from Half.com. It was only $42 which is great since the GameStops around me only have the game new and only if you get a guitar with it. (I have two axes so I don't need any more). The game was being shipped via "media-mail" and would be scheduled to arrive any day between March 3rd and March 13th!!! But when I went to the mailbox today, it had come all the way from California. When I was at GameStop earlier today to try and pry MLB 09 out of the clerks, after many minutes of me asking and him being a total ***-hole to me, I eventually just went and bought Guitar Hero 3 to keep me busy. I figured I'd just play that for a day or two until The Show arrived.
When I saw that Rockband 2 came in the mail, I was psyched. I now have a TON of new songs to play and distract me from The Show.
This coming week will be a videogame Nirvana for me. Speaking of which, I think I'll play a few of their songs!
