since there is only day games and night games in the show then i think the moving shadows are only for night games...

day games stay the same....from what i have seen all day

YES! I hope my last name is in there too. I was pissed because my first name (Adrian) wasn't on the list for '08, but Adrián Beltré and Adrian Gonzalez can have their name said by Matt V. and the PA!

As for my last name, it's an Irish name that starts with an O. It was in '08 without the O, which pissed me off.

yanks are up 2-0 on my mets in yankee stadium...

then i hit a homer with tatis off cc.

                    2-1 yanks

Santana has settled in and now struck out the last 2

i love how the scoreboard in dead center shows how many pitches i have thrown and how many were balls and strikes and which type of pitch i last thew along with the speed of it..

                    incredible...

this is all on legend mode

Hey guys. I want to know if you can play every team's games on franchise/season mode, and not just your own team. Thanks.

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions

                          For the video/screenshot guys.

How in-depth is the video capturing/screenshot system available to us in-game?

I want to play the 2009 season by playing a Game of the Week. I might play two games a week or more. Depends on how I feel.

Anyway, I want to grab highlights for each game. Have screenshots as well. Maybe even use the Dynasty forums/Arena to write a short article about each game.

What do I need to know before heading in so that when I fire up my first game, I'm not missing anything and then losing out on video/screenshots I could have taken?

                          Some basic questions:

                          1. How deep is the replay feature?
                          2. How easy is it to upload screenshots to OS? Could I just use the PSN Browser, log-in to OS, and post that way?
                          3. How would this work for videos? Can I edit them on the replay feature and then upload those videos to youtube or a similar service?
                          4. Do I absolutely need to save replays after every play or will I be assured that all plays are in the replay vault? Do I need to fill the vault to have replays?

Just curious to know what I can do with my idea before I get too excited about it on my way home with the game only to find out it's not possible.

                          Thanks.

You have complete user freedom with the replay vault and screen capture. The beauty of it is you can take it to your PC and edit everything on movie maker. Drag and drop them in put them together for a seamless presentation.
