Strictly my opinion, but for me, this is the greatest sports game I have ever played, bar none.

Great plan, except for one thing - you can't look at a picture saved to the HDD during a game. It forces you to quit first.

Edit: Unless that's different in MLB'09? (Possibility, since the screenshot feature exists...)

view images drop down of pictures scroll to your pic, just don't x just look at the pic they are small but you can see them.

Nope, I AGREE with you 100%, I have never played a better sports game ever. This takes the cake. I wish SCEA would try and make a comeback with a Gameday football game.

The pitching has really been fine tuned this year. Always using CLASSIC pitching with all aids off I find that I'm throwing more balls. It seems each pitcher is really different whereas last year all pitchers had basically the same feel with their control.

Loving it so far (except for the friggin' sound editor, lol)

Just had Giles hit a one hopper right back at Wainwright, who snagged it and threw to first. Ptchers field, for sure. Man lots of subtle new animations in fielding.

Three games in and I'm leaning towards your assessment. This truly is a great game.

The visuals alone make it worth the purchase price. I guess the drive to L.A. was worth it.

ESPN NFL 2K5 is so far my epic that I tell tales about, mostly because of the longevity of franchise (I was on my ninth year playing every game).

With that being said, I think that once I start a franchise in this game, there will be a new king...

i felt that mlb the show 08 was the greatest sports game ever.....i hope i can say this about 09.....which im sure i will
