Just got the game..MANY thanks to the guys on this board, thanks to them sharing info I was able to pick the game up at a Mom and Pop 2 miles from my house that I did'nt even know about..

I've played 7 innings and I can honestly say, being a baseball nut...Best...Game..Ever.

These folks saying that it's "more of the same" are clearly The "Glass is half-empty" types...

I am really looking forward to getting my Dodgers franchise (MOM) going...

The music feature is going to be awesome. It is going to be a very daunting task adding all the player music from the custom songs thread. You have to add the music to the PS3 hard drive....then add the songs to your MLB soundtrack in the game. Just from the custom sound set and music I have on my HD I have 144 pages of music to add to the game.

When you add songs, they are attached to that roster. So everyone who is going to wait for Knight's roster should wait to add music until he completes the project.

Custom chants are pretty amazing. I made one where the crown yells my last name and claps a 5 beat.

The create a player is similar to last year. But it seems like you can create more variety in the faces this year. Last year some created player's heads looked to big to me. This year they look like more realistic to me.

It has been mentioned before. You have the same accessories as last year plus glasses (I think 6 different types), eye black, gloves in the back pocket and baggy pants.

I think the hairstyles are pretty much the same.

I spent the last two hours messing around in the player creator and custom music menus. Now it's time to play.

Could you post some stadium screen shots for the guys.

Turning double plays was a thing of beauty at the event. Can you comment on what you've seen as that was a BIG fielding issue last year.

Lay down some bunts as there was also an issue with the pitcher/catcher winding up and runners being safe, which we also saw was addressed at the event.

Yeah, can someone give some details on Franchise, mainly whether or not the money is somewhat in line with real life. How is the trade logic, etc.
