Sad to see they still have not fixed the double switch glitch. Did a double switch last night, and the quick menu was frozen on the screen. I tried to play an inning with it remaining on the screen, but could not handle it very long.

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but in franchise I think there is a glitch that won't let you make any multiplayer trades or any trades that aren't even up. (meaning a 1 for 2 or a 2 for 3 player swap) I was the white sox in a franchise and wanted to try and trade for Brian Roberts, but it would only let me do a 1 for 1 trade and of course I didn't want to give up someone just as good up for him. Every time I tried to to propose a deal that I was trading two guys and getting back one, it would say both teams need to have player in order for the trade to go through. THen even worse when you do go back and make it an even 2 for 2 trade... let's say In the original trade you are trying to trade for a 2B and you are trading them a 3B and a RF. (the uneven 1 for 2 it wont let you do) When you go back to try and put another player in the deal it so its a straight 2 for 2 swap it only lets you pick from a player from the same position on the other team. (meaning if the second player I picked from Baltimore was a RF, I had to trade a RF off my roster back, I couldn't trade a 3B and CF)

This isn't coming out how I want it to, I wish I could have someone playing with me to see what I mean, but I hope someone understands this.

May have been posted already...

My RTTS player has been "ejected" by the ump a couple of times now for arguing a close call at first. The problem is that he never really leaves the game and is allowed to keep playing. This is with fielding and baserunning chances disabled if that makes any difference.

In my 2nd season in RTTS I get back to the schedule and click to sim to my next experience...the screen goes black and my PS3 restarts itself. ????

I try again and again and again...even delete the d/l and reinstall, no luck.

So now I'm stuck with an unusable RTTS career.

Does anyone know what the problem is and if it's repairable? Has anyone had this issue?

Dave Campbell gets my record in franchise wrong pretty regulalry.

Also, on the outfield scoreboard roster list -- it doesn't always list the position the player is playing that day but rather their primary position.

I have had the same thing happen regarding the commentary on my record, I'm two or three games above .500, but he always says something along the lines of "with this loss they'll drop to 2 games below .500" if I'm losing a game late. Not that big of a deal, but kind of annoying. I HATE the three commentators anyways, so it just kind of adds to my dislike. This is one of my only gripes with the game, unrealistic, annoying, and delayed commentary. I'd almost rather listen to Miller/Morgan as opposed to these three, and that's saying something haha.

Otherwise, I haven't really noticed that many bugs in the game, I'm so glad that it's finally out and that baseball is almost upon us.

I started noticing that sliders didn't do jack. Started a new RTTS save on ROOKIE and maxed out power, contact and solid hits. Guy is a 3b with 50+power and 60+ contact. In 350 at-bats and 220 hits, I have 5HR, 3 triples, and 13 doubles, rest are ALL weak up the middle ground ball singles. I thought one of the devs said that maxing out certain sliders would make the player as good as the best rated player in that category. Does this not hold true in RTTS?

I don't want to go through 20 pages of posts, so I'm sorry if this has been mentioned already.

Does anyone know what the deal is with hot zones? I'm a starting pitcher in RTTS, and whenever I see someone's hot zones (for example, by pressing select, or when the game gives me a goal and shows me the hitter's zones), they look one way — but the zones are reversed (flipped horizontally) in the actual pitcher-batter interface. Example: let's say a left-handed hitter has this setup, and this is what the Select button screen shows:

[H][H][C]
[H][H][C]

When I pitch to him in the game, here's what I see (remember, I'm using the behind-the-pitcher camera, which I'm pretty sure is the only option in RTTS):

[the hitter dddla [C][C][C]
is a lefty d laaall [C][H][H]
so he's here]ddll [C][H][H]

So...which one is correct?

If I'm not mistaken that was there in 08 as well. I played with the zones on for awhile, untill I started to notice they didn't match up what pressing select showed. Not sure which one's right.

I think there is definitely an issue with giving guys saves that don't deserve them. I was getting blown out by the Twins, and they brought in some random reliever who pitched the last 2 innings. It somehow credited him with the save even though they were beating me by about 10 runs.

I'm quoting this from another post (sorry if this is against forum etiquette or something) to see what you guys think:

This is really annoying. For some reason, the game seems to not want to save my options for the fielding controls. I'm a starting pitcher, and because I'm used to pressing O to throw to first base, I want to set the throwing button mapping to Classic instead of Fielder. But I keep fielding balls in games and pressing circle, and my pitcher throws the ball to third while the runner crosses first safely.

I've saved the settings, but it seems like I keep having to change it at the start of each game. What gives? Am I the only person having this issue?

ok, this has happened to me twice now. The first time I just thought it was me.

Ball is hit to RF toward Magglio, the landing region doesn't show up at all. Of course, I have no idea where the ball is going to land so it rolls to the wall.

Just a second ago, the same scenerio and I thought maybe it was a line drive and the landing region was small but I couldnt' find it. Suddenly it appears rather large just as the ball hits the ground. Same result, ball rolls to the wall , batter gets a triple and an RBI.

This also happened me twice (Today).

GO into replay mode to record the play. Both times I get the cursor on the ball to track it and both times I end up getting an error saying that the recording failed. At this point, no matter what I do I cannot get out of that screen. I end up having to hold down the PS button to exit the game or turn off the PS3.

I tried letting the play run all the way through, I tried clicking L3 again, tried 'select', 'Start', nothing works.
