I don't think the throwing meter works at all...sometimes I just tap it to get a soft throw, but the player still makes a bullet throw...there is no difference if I have all the rings lit up or just one..

I notice that when I first start up the game it takes forever just to get the "sony entertainment" (or whatever) screen to show up. Almost like it freezes for awhile.

At Turner Field the lights never come on in left of the foul pole. So if you hit a foul ball to left and it shows the lights they are always off. Not a biggie I know but just pointing it out. Also wondering why they have all the years of the Braves franchise on the wall instead of the few retired players they have. First I thought it was a license issue but I see other parks that have players names on it. One other small thing is the brick under the bar in right center looks not too good. They have a beam coming down with darker brick and you can see the morter. Looks so much more detailed then the other brick. If they could fix that then that would be great. Also the Braves hat's are incorrect. Like I said not game killers but just little things that would make it better.

Fing BS cpu suicide squeeze ,cpu guy misses bunt , my catcher on/ infront home plate , guy runs threw batter and catcher safe

For whatever reason... and I dont believe I'm doing anything wrong, but when a ball is hit to LF and I throw home for a play at the plate, I have yet to throw the ball online... the throw always ends up about 20 feet to the first base side of homeplate. This has happened to me 6 times so far.

Anyone else have this problem? I havent had a problem throwing from RF or CF.

me too , i have it happend every time i play takes about a minute for me

I have only seen a couple, one was mentioned earlier, the crowd numbers showing at Spring Training, not a huge deal.

The other one that I did not see mentioned is also in Spring Training. I go to change my pitcher in the 2nd game and look through the available options in the menu after hitting up on the d-pad and see that guys have 6 IP already when they have actually faced 6 batters. Seems it is counting batters faced.

This is in the 2nd game of ST and I am the Jays playing the Phillies, I assume Hamels would have started the 1st game so the correct pitcher in Brett Myers starts, however he has already pitched in their first game? They bring in Hamels second who pitched in the first game. I like that pitchers only go 2-3 innings when they start, but they should not be pitching on back to back games.

Not really a big deal, but on the wrong stats, I played an online game, and I was home and won so I didnt' bat in the bottom of the 9th, and when I went and looked at my profile stats, it only gave me 8 innings pitches. It counted my strikeouts and hits and whatnot from the 9th inning, but my 'per game' stats are slightly inflated now.

Do not really steal to home, so I would never really see it. Why are you doing this in the first place? From your post it sounds like you are doing it frequently. How often does this really happen during a MLB season?

I agree - I found out about this accidentally cause I have some problems still with the baserunning controls - I was trying to simply steal second only but ended up accidentally double stealing . .. .I tested it out several times after that and discovered the same thing every time - the catcher will not cover home plate and it's an easy run every time - it needs to be fixed

A few things:

1) Citi Field doesn't have the Pepsi Cola piece up in RF and no out of town scoreboard up in LF...they should get a pass on this though because the stadium itself isn't even entirely done yet. Big boo-boo though is that they have blue walls when it appears that Citi Field WILL have green walls. Again, can't blame them considering the renderings of the field on Mets.com are blue too. In front of the Iron Triangle Bridge in right-center, they have bleachers when in fact there will be a little seating/eating area.

2) Mets unis. Home are perfect, road have the wrong helmets. This is MLBs fault because they go by the style guide which is way, way off. Road unis are accompanied by the all-black helmet, which is ONLY worn with the black jersey. Mets wear the blue-fade-to-black helmet with their snow-whites (correct) and road jerseys (incorrect).

The game is fantastic though...most of this is nitpicking and doesn't at all take away from the great quality of the game.

In franchise mode, should the cpu teams pick up high level free agents (i.e. Manny, Garrett Anderson, Abreu, etc etc)?

I've been running a lot of simulated games to see where I may need to adjust some sliders here and there before Knight is done with his rosters. While I think this game is pretty close to perfect out of the box (the 5 games I ran last night were perfect as far as stats/score go) but my one complaint is the error that happens every game- at least with what I have seen so far with a fielder over throwing 1b. I know this happens time to time in real life but not once a game. Anyone else seeing this or have any ideas to cut down on this type of error?
