2 issues in my Mariner season (don't know if these have been posted):

1. Griffey has a huge helmet (made for the big heads egg I would I imagine) when he has a cut-scene on first. I've seen this twice. It looks very odd, he has his normal head size but the helmet is for the big heads unlockable.

2. Washburn has a horrible clipping issue when he pitches from the stretch. His pitching arm disappears inside his stomach and then reappears when he is about to release the ball. Looks very very odd.

Game froze while watching a replay.

Same here, I was watching the replay at the end of an onine game and froze ..

Then for the second time while playing an online game the game froze in the 6th inning I was on top 2-0. So I restarted my PS3 and got the lost !!!!!!!!!!! for the disconnect ..

I hope it get fixed soon

Really weird, but they made a pitching change and right after the batter walkup cut scene I instantly pressed pause and went to my bullpen to warm up my closer. Strangely, I was acting as the other team and I was in their bullpen. I could even choose to warm up their pitcher (which I accidentally did). I unpaused and tried to go back in, but I was back to my bullpen.

I just noticed a bug with the pitchers jacket when he is on base. The jacket was pure white (missing it's texture), and the texture only shows up when the other teams pitcher starts throwing a pitch, and then the texture disappears again when the catcher catches the pitch.

If it helps, this was happening with the Brewers dark blue alternate away uniform.

Also, I was playing as the Brewers vs the Mets (the Mets were the home team). People from the crowd were yelling "Have a nice flight home Mets!", "Go home Mets!" and "Go back to New York Mets!"

Haven't encountered the one with the fans yelling that about the home team. The one about the jacket is a bug i've noticed right away. One of many this year. Some of my favorites are the manager will turn from white to black or vice versa on his way to the mound. Gives new meaning to the word interracial. The CPU being able to edit its lineups even wihen you have cpu roster control on. This wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't end up doing things like have Todd Helton bat lea doff, Jose Bautista bat 3rd and playing third for the jays. Then there are some smaller ones. Carlos Beltran is called Carlos Delgado by the announcers. I noticed too when you hit a HR on the replay alot of times it will show a player on the other team at bat on the jumbotron. For instance I hit a HR with Clint Barmes and Troy Tulowiztki against the Royals and both times it showed Miguel Olivo as the hitter when they went to replay. I really hope they come out with some type of patch for at the very least the problem with the CPU roster control. That being said as someone who just got a ps3 and played nothing but 2k the last few year. This game is alot better with the gameplay, road to show and animation/frame rate offline, and just in general.

Does anybody know if/when SCEA, the developers or whoever might put some type of patch out to fix some of these problems?

That I find very interesting. I usually never watch the replays online, but I had a game yesterday where we combined for 9 home runs, so I left it going after an online game to watch all the replays. Then I get back into the room after the game, rate my opponent, I went to look at my player card, and the game was not there, and today it still hasn't counted my win. Then about a minute later, I lost connection to sportsconnect. I couldn't tell if sportsconnect was acting up, or if it had something to do with the fact that I stayed in to watch the replay. I'm thinking the latter had something to do with it now.

During my Season mode, with Dustin Pedroia I hit what looked liked a homerun in the White Sox stadium. Should've replay saved it, but it was deep left field and the ball went through the yellow line that's on top of the wall. Then out for a homerun, BUT it was called a ground rule double. It did not bounce off anything. It just went through the yellow line completely. Maybe it was a miss call for homeruns... should add instant replay to the game next year... bad blow call if it was since the ball didn't bounce off anything and it was clearly out of the playing field..

A patch ( if they are going release one, should be annonced fairly soon) Last year they released a total of 2 patches for the show and both were released by mid May. I would expect the first one released by opening day ( April 6) or the week after. I would say the outcry about the Cubs home night games is enough to warrent a patch release. Like the rest of you I will wait until all patches are released to start a franchise. Last year I didn't start until late May.

Is anyone noticing a pause before each batter stands in the batters box?

I'm not sure if you're talking about only the very first time you put it in to play it or every time you put it in to play daily.

If it was the first time ever, there is a little note that says it might take 6-7 minutes to load. If it's daily this game does take a little longer to load then others so that isn't uncommon if that's why you're asking

No I haven't noticed the pause, but I also haven't always been paying attention either. I'll start looking for it from now and get back to.

I'm glad they are gonna fix the cubs thing, even as a white sox fan I thought that was too bad they didn't catch that before they released. One of the things that makes the cubs unique to any other professional team in any sport (im not counting football since they only play once a week) is the amount of day games they play. I'll try to be somewhat classy and won't mention the other thing that makes them unique.

Is the patch the same thing as the roster update they release? Also how do you get the patch? sorry i just bought a ps3 and are new to the show this year. Thanks

If it's daily this game does take a little longer to load then others so that isn't uncommon if that's why you're asking

yea daily is what i was talking about it seems to hang on a black screen for like a minute or so before the opening screens start to roll didn't know if my ps3 was gonna crap out

Is anyone else getting a split second white screen where a cut scene of a stadium specific homerun animation(bell in Philly, apple in N.Y., etc.) should be?
