I love how my player goes through batting slumps and then he is on fire throughout the year, just like in real baseball. In the month of April I was hitting everything, getting hits in the gaps.

Now during the last 2 weeks I cant hit for nothing and If I do hit the ball hard it is straight to a defender. My batting average is .300 right now, hopefully I get out of this slump soon!

Life in AA is going to be terrible. I just had an inning where I gave up 5 runs, none earned. The SS and 2b on my team had 2 errors each, and the 1b had one.

Try 7 errors. My squad actually had 7 errors. They even made mention of it when they hit 4 errors. (By the way when they mentioned the 4 errors there was a little white box in the upper left hand corner of the screen during that cutscene. Anyone know what that was about?). Believe it or not I actually won the game 8-3. I had to do some clutch pitching to pick-up the Keystone Cops masquerading as my fielders.

Here's my RTTS player - First Baseman Tyler Dodge drafted by the Pirates. How soon can I ask for a trade? I want to go to the Astros or the Braves. I'm doing all right batting around .300 with 1 HR and 3 RBI's through 5 games. Do you think the name "Tyler Dodge" is a little too .... basebally? I might as well named him Crash Davis or something. I just hope he doesn't end up with the Dodgers.

I normally do a CF for my career because that is the position I played my entire life. But I decided to create a SS and like it. Seem to see a lot of action there.

My RTTS is a catcher named Jake Wolf, drafted by the White Sox. I'm currently halfway through a very lackluster spring training. I'm hitting .200 with about 10 RBI's and no homers. Did yall's hitting improve when you went to the minors?

It would be great if there were a mode like RTTS in which you could play as one guy, but not have to go through all the early development.

Don't for get the lack of run support. I've lost at least three games when my team scored 1 run or less while I was on the bump. It sucks to give up 3 runs and take a loss. I see why your record doesn't matter as much in the minors. You can have some nasty stuff if you get no runs you will lose.

I've also added a lot to my pitching clutch rating. I've decided that may be part of the reason that I come undone on the hill when I get runners on base.

I just had a great game, hit my first HR it was 3 run shot to Right field. And then on defense I robbed a HR it was awesome.

The beauty of RTTS is that your player can have a couple of excellent games putting you on top of the world. Then all of a sudden...BAM!! You get rocked by the opposing team, and you feel like crap...lol. You start asking yourself, what is wrong with my pitcher?...lol.

Well, that is what happen with my pitcher. He had a 2.88 ERA pitching shut out and then BAM, he gets roped and has an ERA of 3.47 now.

Took my pitcher to the Minor League ALL-Star game. He only was allowed 1 inning to pitch, but he struck out all 3 batters. The best part was i recieved 440 skill points after.

I agree, I played a lot last night and had some similar situations. I got off to a bad start with my pitcher(who is coming out the pen in AA), but I soon caught fire. I had a nice streak of games going with my ERA below 3, I was hoping to have 1 more nice performance and then ask the manager for a shot at the rotation. The very next game I got rocked, and failed a lot of in game goals. It took me a few games to get back on my feet. I stopped playing this morning(yes I played RTTS all night) when I was on an absolute roll. I'm afraid that I may go into a downward spiral soon because I was rusty in my last appearance, I just hope I can keep it up until I get a shot at the rotation.
